Seems like a no brainer.

I tried it. The blades suck. Well it's not so much the blades but how they pivot. It was a complete switch from how a Mach 3/Turbo works. In search of a cheaper alternative I tried Harry's. It was a superior shaving experience. The blades were high quality and the pivot was more firm like Mach 3. It's not as great as Mach 3 but it's close enough and nearly half the price of those blades. Harry's also offers a subscription plan.

Having tried both, Harry's>>>>>>>>>DSC.

Yeah I'd just imagine the quality wouldn't be very good. Does seem like a good deal though.

The quality of blade wasn't bad but I had to hold my hand at a weird angle to get it to actually shave with the DSC blades. It just kept wiping off the shave soap rather than actually shaving. I would have to change my method completely. I ain't doing that.

 Their commercials make fun of razors with multiple blades, they then sell one with 6 blades.

I thought long and hard about using a safety razor. I had a thread about it at TXB. I just couldn't pull the trigger. I'm an aggressive shaver and I would have to learn to be more gentle. Everything else is like I shave with a razor. I use Taylor of Old Bond Street saving soap, a fake badger brush and a high quality, alcohol free after shave.

The Art of Shaving shaving cream is second to none and I consider it the best. I may switch back to it when my two tubs of Taylor of Old Bond street runs out. That'll take a year. I shave every other day, thick facial hair and a tub lasts about six months. Razors only last me a week hence me searching high and low for cheaper alternative that's still high quality.

Yeah they are a little different, but I honestly like them better than the Mach 3.

Admittedly, if you shave aggressively with them, yer gonna have a bad time.

I use the 4x and it works perfectly for me. I'm lazy and don't shave very often (also am terrible beard grower), but the quality was the same as my Mach 3 or whatever it was from Gillette. I have way more razors than necessary though. I have like 2 unopened packages right now.

I like the Turbo buzzing razors. And 4 cartridges a month? Wow, I change mine about once a month.

I used to use an old gillette safety razor for the longest time. but then i switched to the humble twin from DSC.

I love it. And the price is great.

I have also used their shave butter and butt wipes. both are great products. I enjoy shaving with the shave butter.

As far as mr snub's comment, their commercials dont make fun of razors with multiple blades.
their commercials make fun of razors with multiple blades that cost a lot of money,
there is a difference

I just dry shave with cheap disposables and change my razor every other month or so... no joke.

I was once a DSC member but I stopped. Their blade handles are cheap and after a couple of shaves on a single blade, the actual connecting hinge would break (made of plastic) and I'd have to go send a support ticket to the DSC and they would mail me a new handle. After three handles I said...forget it, I'm not wasting my time anymore.

At the end of the day, I was honestly only saving a few bucks from what I normally buy at the store which is the Gillette Mach 3. $15 a month versus $9...eh...I think I'll live.

The handle of Harry's is fantastic. I just went with the plastic one, top notch. It feels and looks elegant even though it's plastic.

Vapor, with how fast I go though blade I need to switch. Once a week, no fail. When I buy an eight pack of Mac 3 Turbo's it's like $28? I won't buy them off Amazon. There' been too many complaints about them possibly being counterfeit. It looks like I'll be a Harry's customer for the time being.

I use the fusion proglide turbo. I like it enough. I don't shave often, i trim (I like stubble) so it's not a problem for me price-wise. When I do need a close shave, it's great (imo).

No but they're cents per blade. Make sure you buy the quality blades. Search the net as there are list of reviews of what blades are best.

You shave every other day, so its like one day you got a beard, next day clean shave?

......every other day hairy bastard.

Been using a safety razor for a while. Does the job but you have to have your technique down.
