The Wrestling Topic

It just depends where they are. If it's Chicago, New York, Boston, UK, Canada, etc you're going to get a good reaction because that's where all the real wrestling fans show up. I think the Wyatts debuted in Baltimore was it? They got a huge pop but then the crowd was chanting "Husky Harris". Like really? Way to ruin a good moment. We know Bray Wyatt is Husky, thanks for reminding us.

They were in Ohio last week right? that crowd was dead.

Apparently WWE Network won't edit out Benoit but a disclaimer will be shown before and he will not be mentioned in any new shows made.

The media reaction will be interesting to see. It'll either be non-existent or a complete s*** storm. I was just listening to Chavo Guerrero Jr. talk about Eddie and Benoit on Y2J's podcast. It's very good. At times funny but incredibly deep as well. Gave me a perspective on who Chavo is as a man.

Over The Edge will also be available but any Owen parts will be edited out.

Why do they have to put up a disclaimer about Benoit? it's not like they are going to show the murders for crying out loud.

Still showing footage of a guy that killed two people.

I've seen plenty of footage of people like Hitler on television without a disclaimer, I know what you are saying I just think it's going a bit overboard that's all.

WWE still gets s*** for it and the media really tried to put the blame on them so its better to just be safe.

Finally a good crowd, the last few weeks have been awful but the crowd tonight was great. That stare down between the Shield and Wyatt family was great and Reigns just looks like a bad ass but I think most of us would agree the Ambrose/Henry match was a stinker, actually a lot of sloppy performing tonight IMO. I don't like Orton or Cena but the main event was a good match with a clean finish, I don't buy their PPV's so I'm not burnt out on those two going against each other yet like many others are.

It's kind of funny that WWE fired him for what rumored to be a weight issue considering that's the whole reason he was pushed in the first place and kept around for so long. Same reason why Yokozuna was let go.

I think its once it gets out of control. With Yoko they really tried to help him because he had become so unfit but the guy was constantly sneaking off to McDonald's for multiple burgers.

They like big guys but also want them to be healthy.

I definitely agree, but I'd have to wonder if they worry about their health as soon as they get hired or after they get the big push. Put the pressure on as soon as you hire them. When they aren't stars/vets.

Well Yoko was a lot slimmer when he joined. He was nearly 600 lb when he died.

Think they went out of their way with Big Show to get him to lose weight or that might have something he did himself?

Big Show did it himself. He took up boxing training and lost a ton of weight. This was after he put over Bobby Lashley back in ECW on Sci-Fi. Made a return to feud with Floyd Mayweather. To be fair though, Show was in much better shape at that time than Vis' or Yoko's worst. His biggest problem was just being dragged out by constant and sort of having to take the reigns of ECW for several months as the shows face after RVD got arrested for possession.

Oh god they wasted so much time on Lashley.
Lashley boned himself. Twice. Had a chance to be a huge star, but he had to go with his wife for some reason. Then he started a MMA career and ended up ruining his spot with TNA due to scheduling conflicts. It seems like neither company really wants him. He hasn't exactly made any strides on the indy scene either. Funny how a guy can go from such a high spot to basically being an after thought. He was over at the time though. His match with Cena really had me thinking that WWE would push him as WWE Champion at the next Wrestlemania.

behind like a week on wrestling just watched the raw with cena Vs ortan. Oh my f***ing god cena is so mother f***ing boring. I'm so tried of seeing him getting his ass beat for 20 mins then he pulls out the 5 moves of doom and wins.

God damn it why do they think they can't have him f***ing lose from time to time. s*** I'm about to just say f*** WWE. everything to do with cena is boring s*** they've done for 10 god damn years now.
