Oops one thing they don't have yet. Watch out for it. Most likely being done through phones and tablets alaW8. Already have music videos, and games have started 1 original x1 game. Never played or tried it. When cloud. becomes fully utilized I doubt anything MS can get a $ won't be put out.

I wouldn't say it's a service just yet haha, but it's definitely being tested internally.

But, as long as bandwidth speeds suck ass and there is input lag, I won't get on board with a streaming service.
 
All fine and dandy that streaming stuff, but isn't it only for people with very good internet connections? Also, won't there always be decrease in quality when streaming a game? But mostly...nice promises by Sony, but i will believe it when i see it. Plus i for one am not interested. Cool for the folks that want to replay PS1, PS2 and PS3 games...i don't. And if the service is part of Plus, good on Sony...but that i doubt. Plus i bet you will have to buy all those games again...nah thanks.

Never played the games I'm interested in so good for me and others.
 
So I just got my xbone yesterday, what are some must have games for it? I got Ghosts but absolutely hate it

I think it's a good question, not a console wars question. My personal opinion: I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Sony press releases and tech promises to match reality. They seldom do. The latest Killzone still isn't as pretty as the faked Killzone 2 trailer they showed at E3 years ago.

I don't see latency going away any time soon for these streaming services. It's one thing to stream media that you can cache, but you can't cache game logic (unless it was designed very specifically for that sort of thing). I think those services will work just fine in lab environments and over LAN but even if speeds were higher, there's just too much involved in networking for a real-time streaming service to be viable within the next 5 years or so. Just my humble opinion.

Game was way to fast paced for a ghost recon game. They took away player controlled lobbies. They took away all the customization from matches. They made all the weapons feel like ass. Gun play felt like CoD instead of ghost recon. s***ty maps because of the s***ty cover system. Lower player count. No LMS.

those are some of my major problems with the game and I wish death upon it.

I've been playing the franchise since GR on pc in 2001 then made the jump to xbl. Even when the game switched to tps and the graw series made it more accessible, the game maintained the ghost recon feeling. Future Soldier is just an abomination to franchise...

This is interesting news given that Blow's forthcoming island adventure The Witness has only been announced for PS4 and PC (it was originally slated to release on Xbox Live Arcade). It's also interesting given the dim view Blow has been known to take of all things Xbox, and in particular the manufacturer's developer support and publishing requirements.

eh, never really play multiplayer. Did play some co-op though.

GR 2001 and this game are 100% completely different games, so I pretty much accept it for what it is. I do, however, wish we could at least get a XBLA-like title that goes back to original style of gameplay, only with modern graphics, AI, and other touches.

As well as the others have said, Lego Marvels is a lot of fun and a HUUUUUUUUUGE game!
 
You know what game we does need news on? Sunset Overdrive. That game fell off the grid and MS said it's coming this year.

Get Even: Where Next-Gen Shooting Meets Dark Souls
Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2015.



Painkiller: Hell & Damnation developer The Farm 51 has revealed Get Even, a first-person shooter coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Polish studio has claimed that the project, which is set to release in 2015, is being designed to blur the lines between single and multiplayer with "ambitious new dynamic and photorealistic graphics" and mechanics not too dissimilar to those found in Dark Souls. It'll also mix the horror and thriller genres.

While the story will focus on memories of the game's heroes, you'll be able to change and mould the characters by the routes you choose when playing.

The Dark Souls-esque element comes from the fact that you'll be able to invade other players worlds and team up with enemies, in a manner similar to the Phantom system. The result is that you'll never know whether the opponents you're facing are being controlled by humans or AI.
