I never mentioned quality or preference. I mentioned the titles currently available. All of which are cheaper Arcade experiences. Sure, they're free, but hardly a significant service at this point in time. Compare the PS4 service to that on PS3, and why even bother with a PS4 ? Has few games exclusive to the platform or generation, and the PS3 service means you need not buy many, if any, games.

You used a service that is lacking in quality and quantity as reason why folk are rushing for a PS4. In its current state I doubt it even registers on the Pro side of things.

Anyway, I wish they accounced game for gold soon, but I am wondering what games they will burden? Forza wouln't make sense as the game is burden & like 1/2 of people already have them. No one wanted the stupid kinect fighting, & there isn't much indie games to pick from at the moment.

I honestly think as good-will, they can maybe give 5bucks per month to be used to purchase Digital games to make up for lack of GWG on xbox one (until tehy have GWG).

What I am hoping to hear at E3 is Games for Gold and full BC. This would give them the entire 360 library to choose from. Plus with this is offer better and more recent games on X1 compared to that what the 360 owners are getting.

What game have been given for PS4+ thus far ? Mark of the ninja, shank, Dead nation, outlast....hardly a bunch of games worthy of making a console more significant over another plus, Games for Gold is coming to be Xbox one.

There's Resogun, Contrast, Don't Starve, Outlast, Dead Nation so far. Haven't played Don't Starve yet but the other 4 are nice games to play especially Resogun and Outlast.

Hmmmm....that is a bit too long ago, i don't remember anymore. I guess we'll see. One thing is for sure, if they are going to release a remastered version of this, i expect that Rockstar wants to take good advantage of the new hardware too and probably add stuff that wasn't in the PS360 version.

The same goes for hardware performance: X1 is considered a "weak system" despite Ryse being one of (if not THE) most impressive looking games released for next-gen and despite the fact that most people wouldn't even notice the differences in multiplats if they hadn't already known.
There's no graduation, it's either "strong" or "weak" - and the leading opinion dictates what's in or out.

What is this Situation exactly ? I mean the xbox one is the best selling xbox console at launch. It has sold what, 4-5 million in what 4 months in only 12 countries. Only Situation I see here is MS wondering where to open a new bank account for all their new found mullah

I don't think the sentiment has to do with this site per se, but more of the every where else, really. There is definitely a frustration with the supposed general take on things.

Youtube, ign, gametrailers, etc regularly display a negative and often condescending attitude in the comments. Even my old favorite, gamersyde.

No assuming really needs to be done for anyone who follows any news pertaining to the Xbox One. You only need to follow Xbox and it's team on Twitter, it's channel on Youtube, read Xbox articles on gaming websites (IGN, CVG, Gamespot, Gametrailers, etc.), and read console related news on non-gaming websites to see the constant bashing, trolling, name-calling, and misinformation spread by fans of Sony's machine. I see it every day when I'm online and no assumptions need to be made on my part due to their weird relentless efforts. Documented evidence suggests that a good portion of that community does in fact take part in such things whether "you" see it or not.

So far, I don't have an interest in Sony's platform; there just isn't enough compelling game content for me to purchase. Therefore, I don't spend hardly any time on Playstation related forums, media, etc. So, I can't comment on what Xbox fans are saying in those, because I don't see it. That doesn't change that it happens if it is in fact happening, or that Playstation fans have to deal with it in abundance.

You've said this before in the Titanfall thread IIRC, to imply it's just in people's head but you only need to venture out to speak to gamers, check any other gaming forum (or even segment down here) or read the comments section at youtube X1 vids to find the answers to 'understand'. You simply cannot play the oblivious card. Unless you've been living under a rock the past 10+ years, I don't see how you could've missed it, or continue to miss it.

There are plenty of people still regurgitating DRM opinions still as their main point to hate on X1 and its games. Yes, to this day. And when that doesn't work it's the resolution..and if that fails it's hardware specs, and if...you get the idea. But, it's never about the games. I haven't seen people get so hype over a game like Resogun in yrs on forums until these last months while there's also other experiences like Max: The Curse of Brotherhood to compare it to..to me it's mindboggling.

I used to love visiting Xboxyde. But since the merge of sites I found myself visiting it less. I couldn't stomach reading blind hatred and low lvl comments on gametrailers. Haven't visited the latter in ages.

And what you're saying might carry some weight if the bulk of the conversation that prompted your posts on the matter didn't initiate from sources outside this site. The "xbox fans" you addressed of assuming things were referring to things they've read elsewhere, and the conversation itself really originated from discussion of an article from another site. I don't believe anyone's specifically called out this website as what they're referencing, so your statement doesn't hold much weight.

I'm sure it's not intentional, but you're basically trying to funnel a conversation referencing comments and attitudes from the internet into one solely about this website and discrediting everything in the process.

Ultimately, you're right. I don't care either, but whether we do or not doesn't mean it's not happening dude.

As for really caring about gamers elsewhere...no, I really shouldn't having care. Hypocrisy in my fellow gamers don't affect me no different than most hypocrisy in the real world. I'm not going around and constantly making posts that are directed towards individuals that will never see it.

It's funny too because they keep saying to stop bringing up the PS4 yet some of the ones complaining are the ones bringing it up on a regular basis. Then when PS fans give some of their input, they tell them to get lost and go back to "their side". Has the imaginary console war forced people to resort to this? There are now certain sections where gamers can't visit just because they favour Sony more at the moment. We can't be here to gather information and post our thoughts as well about the Xbox One? Then when we do post, it's like oh you're a Sony fanboy, I know your agenda. Like seriously? Come on guys, we're all adults here, no need to go discrediting someone's post JUST BECAUSE they aren't a big fan of MS at the moment.

I read through the thread....nope, no supposed "sony" fans hating on xbox.


I know there's a lot of it outside of Union, I'm not oblivious to what some may think, but honestly, if we're posting here, it's safe to assume, that if not specific...we're talking about people here.

Well, for starters, for years, when this site was the original team xbox, it was constant. I mean, xbox fans just jumped out of their skins to constantly post links to lensoftruth or eurogamer to proclaim out loud how awesome xbox was and how crappy PS3 was. I don't even want to get into posters there, and even here, that proclaimed PS3 to be a completely utter failure.



If you seriously think XB fans elsewhere don't bash the PS brand, you're delussional.

It seems to have reached complex levels on this site. Rarely does the other system go without being mention in the XB section and it is usually XB fans who mention it first. That and the constant worry about all the hate for Microsoft. The system is selling like hot cakes and is not in any danger if dying so why worry about it so much.

There was a spell before the systems launched that if you weren't bashing the xb1 you were labelled an "Xbot" or fanboy... Then ps4 started selling like hot cakes and those attacking individuals fears we're put to rest and they relaxed from the bashing.
