In Aus the kinectless SKU is $50 cheaper than the PS4 and comes with Forza Download token. So I assume UK/Europe will get similar deal. Don't know why you guys in the US don't get a free game.

What do the failures have to do with anything. They are under warranty. Also how constrained was it. Unless we have an idea it doesn't matter at this point.

Also the point being made here is you can just see one number is bigger than the other and determine what is bad The Xbox 360 has sold almost 85 million units and sold at a slower pace than the Xb1.

Keep your panties on buddy. I agreed that the X1 is selling just fine. Just pointing out it's not an apples to apples comparison. I was merely surmising that triage of the RROD fiasco may have affected their ability to deliver more units (whether they had to redirect new units as replacements or what). Not stating anything as fact just playing Devil's Advocate.

Yeah, on the surface, it looks like the US is getting screwed but then you do the math and realize that most foreign countries pay more for the console so the pack-ins are to make up for that.

Xbox One outpacing the Xbox 360 by 76% in its first 6 months. Just proof that the X1 is going to be just fine, and that the implied doom and gloom is just hyperbolic fan boy nonsense.

X1 is doing great. Not selling as much as PS4 hardware, but doing well. The console costs $100 more than PS4 and $100-200 more than 360 (Arcade or Pro system), has a mandatory K2 built into the bundle many people don't like, had tons of bad press, launched at the same time as PS4 (while 360 had a year head start over PS3), yet it's outpacing 360 easily. Sounds successful to me.
