There's gonna be tons of people to buy this no matter what. It's practically set up to do well. No huge games coming out for a while, fast paced gameplay, a new series that doesn't suck...this game is just out at the right place & right time on top of being a solid title.
I don't think the 360 version will be that bad either minus the fact that it's probably host based on 360. That could be a problem. It is the Source engine & the game started off being designed for 360 originally, so it might be ok over there.

9 million is amazing for a new IP to be honest. That's kind of overselling it. Maybe lifetime sales, but in the near future? Unless MS makes this the standard pack-in game, I'm thinking around the 4-5 million mark. Majority on X1 obviously.
It'll definitely sell better over time once there's more Xbox One's out there. I can see this next holiday people still picking up Titanfall.
I seriously cant wait to see how the 360 and XBO version stack up together. Should be pretty funny reading some of the reactions and moving goal posts statements.
Damn that actually happened to me a lot. It's funny to see other people going through the same thing. So many matches I thought i was doing awesome and I look at the score and I got like 1 titan kill when I could have swore I killed like 6 of them.
I would guess the most sales will be 360.....if Xbox one outtakes the 360 than Titanfall is a system seller to the extreme.
I don't see it, but simply because sales are falling for the 360 and it's coming out at a later date. Sales will still be good, but I don't see most of them on the 360. I think X1 fans are gonna be hungry for a sci-fi FPS and it'll sell around the 3.5 million mark when it's all said and done.
Dice is much larger with more funding. The excuse is that they aren't a huge developer with massive resources. Ever think that's just what they could pull off with the talent at hand? there is no magic "great graphics" button...
Lucky to get 9,000,000 sales? Jesus Christ. You're saying that as if it would be a failure. If it hits 5 million across all three platforms it's a massive success. Grand Theft Auto 5 sold what, 15,000,000 on Xbox 360? A proven franchise is at 15,000,000. A new franchise like Titanfall would be jumping for joy if it hit 5,000,000.
Talk about setting the damn bar impossibly high.....

I think you've totally missed my point.
I said they'd be lucky to hit 9mil in sales across all platforms. Key word being lucky. In the real world, expect much less. Now, on to the other key words.....across all platforms. Why do I say that? Because some here are expecting TF to move mega amounts of XB1 consoles next month, all due to TF.
So yeah, 5 million will be a massive success, and I dare anyone here to find where I said it would be considered a failure. But, let's imagine that it's this 5 mil sold massive success.....how many of those do you imagine would be for XB1 alone, considering that 360 and PC will also sell a healthy amount? See what I'm saying?
Don't twist my words or intent, I never said sales would suck. I'm using those numbers to shed some logical light on people's claims that TF is somehow going to push XB1 sales to new heights.
"they'd be lucky" is a negative statement. It's always used in a negative way hence my post. They'd be joyed, ecstatic, happy, thrilled, etc.
Titanfall will move systems. That's a guarantee. It won't move millions and millions of consoles, no. If the marketing blitz is focused on the Xbox One it will move more Xbox Ones. If it's focused across all platforms, it will move less Xbox Ones.
I didn't use it as a negative in terms of sales, I used it as a negative in regards to people expecting it to move tons of XB1s.
It'll move some XB1s, nowhere near as well as some are championing.
With that said, i expect pretty healthy sales.
Everybody I know is getting this game....... most YouTube videos people are getting this game.... you look at neogaf and wherever people are getting this game. I don't know what the sales are going to be but this game gives me the same vibe as modern warfare....... but your the one that has put numbers to the sales figures.
Dude, just look at the various threads. Cody alone said everyone was getting the game. Others here have also said they bank on TF moving plenty of XB1s. I won't bother going through the threads, it's been said.
So when I said everybody... you thought I meant 80 million people would get this game?
