Bungie definitely isn't the only one but maybe the only one without any failures alongside itIt's hard to do Live service multiplayer games right. Arguably, only Bungie has succeeded in the modern long term. If it were me, I'd have ND stick to their strengths and focus on the single player games but if studios were not allowed to branch out and try new things we'd have never gotten Horizon Zero Dawn series. So I guess let them try to bring their multiplayer vision forward and if it bombs they can learn from it.
It obviously isn't in good shape.I actually want to see what they come up with. Hopefully things are in good shape.

Doesn't sound good .
Rather they focus on SP with TLOU 3 and the new IP.
So a company who failed to keep the vast majority of their userbase engaged to the point they had to go F2P is now the be all end all. Lol.

Their average players has halved and lost like 124K peak players in the last 2 months when back to the GaaS model (clearly not keeping players engaged). Using numbers for an expansion that follows the old pay to play DLC model and not the GaaS model they are wrongfully being praised for is very disingenuous.Give credit where it's due. The last major expansion was their highest concurrent Steam number yet. They are doing something right with this much hype still in the 9th year of this franchise.
Destiny 2's Lightfall expansion shatters its own concurrent player record on Steam
Lightfall truly has arrived It’s been a huge week for the Destiny 2 team at Bungie. On February 28 the latest...www.destructoid.com
Lightfall flopped, like most of the expansions. I’m surprised you never had this optimism for Bungies success prior to them being acquired by SonyGive credit where it's due. They are terrible at live service. Using them as a benchmark is a terrible decision and should worry all Playstation fans.

I’m talking metacritic scores.Destiny 2 is #7 on Xbox which is a lot higher than some games that has been claimed to be super successful on Union.
I have no idea why anyone does play it though. Its crazy unfriendly to new or returning players.
I did go look at your 5 posts in the official thread before Sony bought Bungie. Post purchase your posting in the same thread is up x100I also criticized Destiny 2 before if you followed the official thread. But the numbers don't lie. Still one of the most popular games being played after almost a decade. The numbers goes back up in every major expansion. You can't argue that. Their gunplay is still excellent the problem is them rehashing old content and the grinding takes too much time. But something is there that keeps players going back to play new content until they have finished everything and they stop again.

I took a break from union when I was playing both Destiny 1 and 2 so I wasn't as active so there's that too. I have spent thousands of hours in the franchise. Can't say the same for anything else really except maybe Overwatch 1 / 2 which is still lower in comparison.
So you played a Sony owned game and of course it's better than a soon owned MS game lol
The numbers don't lie. They have a surge of users when then employ the old paid DLC model and constantly shrink under their Live service model. Lets also not forget they had to take the game F2P play too.I also criticized Destiny 2 before if you followed the official thread. But the numbers don't lie. Pretty much. Yeah.So going by the memes on twitter, Bungie saw the game and gave feedback which caused the scale down?
