Has there been a single big hit from a company trying so hard to copy COD??? Can't think of one.
8 months ago this game was destined to be a big hit at launch. Now....who knows.
Multiplayer FPS games just seem to be an absolute mess right now.
I don't think I've played any MP FPS game in almost a year now, which is really crazy for me. I actually popped into Halo Infinite last night, and I think that's the last MP game I have played since MW2.
On top of everything, it seems cheating is worse than ever and isn't just limited to PC anymore.
Cheating is worse than ever.
I went back to a few to see how they are.
- Apex Legends is just full of cheaters.
- Warzone was horrible.
- BF 2042 just seems to be the same mes it was at launch.
To be honest, all online games seem to be a mess.

I played OW1 for a bit, never really got into 2. Maybe now that all the heroes are free, but just not my thing.
It is weird, I tried to like it, and I think I should like it, but something about the game just doesn't pull me in.
It's a steep learning curve at first with learning all the heroes (kind of like League of Legends) but it's more fun the more you play.
It amazes me with how bad most big online shooters are now that they still stay popular. Guess the sweats and the huge number of casuals just want something to play no matter how bad it is.
Fortnite is the only shooter I play now and have a fun time playing with less frustration, not going to waste my time on any of the others.

Yeah, supposedly Rainbow Six Siege is seeing a huge spike in players after the latest patch. That game is how old? I think the FPS crowd is definitely looking for something new to play.
Dr Disrespect is streaming the Titanfall 2 campaign FFS.

Yet COD and WZ has become the worst (SBMM, design decisions, full of bugs and glitches they don’t fix, map design is all over the place in quality, spawns are terrible… but is still the most popular. So it’s the opposite of what you’re saying.
I meant the popular games in general. I don't understand why anyone plays COD still.
Don't agree with worse, but I do think it is a case of better the devil you know in the current landscape of terrible shooters.
We have xDEfiant coming. Hopefully they don't ruin it between the public test and release.
We have Delfa Force Hawk Ops coming.
We also have Home Land( think that is what it is called) the extraction shooter from Ubisoft.
Hoping that Grey Zone comes to console. Arma-esque Milsim.
Fingers crossed at least one is good.

From what I saw people said it’s terrible (even worse than it was last year) and that it will either be DOA or they should just cancel it. Not sure if I believe these impressions because these are the same people that still play Warzone no matter how bad it is.

People are full of crap.
My only dislike is there still is no TDM and they left the Echelon cloak ability in.
I figured, because these are the same people that say MP shooters are dead in general and people get bored with them quick unless it’s BR games or Warzone. I for one would enjoy a straight up MP shooter again with good gunplay and maps.
Who says a new shooter has to get a big chunk of the Fortnite/Warzone crowed just to survive? If you make a good game with good maps that is fun to play it could have its on community that enjoys the game and will spend money on skins and stuff. Not every game has to have hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue to be worth it.
Ask who ever says that to show the data showing Fortnite players jumping to Warzone.
