Tom Clancy's XDefiant - Launches This Summer, Play The Open Session June 21-23

Plays like Black ops. Tried a few matches and that was it. Nothing new.
 
Got another code to try on PC. Definitely more fun with a mouse and keyboard. But they need to fix a few things. One being the crouch spam. Just treat it like bunny hopping and stop the cheese now. Also the super heal people. I'd run into the same guy every life and he'd have the double health. You don't stand a chance against it. Make it an ult instead of a regular ability.

That explains why I seem to lose so many gunfights. People seemed to insta-melt me while I shoot them and they just tank damage.

Haven't tried it yet, but looks super generic and boring. Could have used these resources to make a good Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon. Instead we get this shooter which will be dead in a couple of months
 
There will not be a splinter cell unless they can get Micheal ironside back. He's really old so that might not be happening unless he needs the money.
 
Played a couple of matches.

Fast paced arena shooter like old COD confirmed.
No TDM in beta.
Enemy footstep audio is bad.
Faction abilities are kind of meh. Not sure why they bothered adding them.

Custom guns are similar to COD.
Maps seem decent.
Gunplay is good.
Servers while in game seemed good.
FPS felt stable.
Movement felt free and fast.
Latency seemed good.

Overall I liked it. Was Fun. Never felt screwed over even when going 9-15.

Oh and has 120hz mode for those who like that.

If they sort the footstep audio and have TDM plus sort out any big bugs. They could have a winner here.

So what game modes does it have? CTF, Dominion or such?
 
I’ll try it out tomorrow morning. Liking the positive impressions so far though
