Good one OJ, comments such as that should be delivered with 'Everyone where Kung Fu Fighting' soundtrack.
960x540 or qHD is a quarter of 1080p - Full HD - I think, might be a good fit for most livestreams - especially if people are supposed to be watching on phones and Vita, phones, etc.
It would be better if the user could choose tough, and Twitch would convert the stream on the fly on their PC's with great internet connections - not really sure how streaming such as that works in server-land. But if you store the video on Twitch - I assume they use full resolution atleast(?) they don't scale it down?
No twitch doesn't have a higher res on their servers than the source video upload. They also won't be archiving/storing any ps4 streams as that would take a huge amount of server space, so they decided not to do that for most likely monetary reasons.

I'm pretty certain Twitch Archives PS4 streams.

Well I take 960x540 since I'm on a 250GB cap Internet cap. I didn't think I would use twitch but I've watches others play to see what other games look like.
I'm following you on Twitch but the couple times I've got the notification on my phone you're done streaming by the time I check it out. Was trying to check out some Ass Creed.I like to stream with no one watching....
It's really good. My only gripe with it is all the Assassin Creed parts, should have just been a pirate game. Was trying to check out some Ass Creed.
Yea I was talking with a friend a couple nights ago about this. Not sure why they just didn't start a new IP based on pirates and leave AC alone. That said, I've decided I'm done with the AC series. I had 100% completed AC1, 2, and was attempting to do the same with Brotherhood when they announced Revelations and became a yearly title. Too bad because I enjoyed the games but I'm not doing this yearly. It's really good. My only gripe with it is all the Assassin Creed parts, should have just been a pirate game.
