Didn't even watch it all.
Looks like UFC4. Same meh animations. Stand up game still look like toddlers throwing punches. Ground game still looks terrible.
To top it off it has moved to the sports game killer engine, Frostbite.
Massively disappointed.
It looks ok to me, I like the replays and ref interactions. I remember though when Fight Night had most fights ending due to cut, so hopefully they can balance that.
All that said, UFC 4 was terrible to me and I just continued playing UFC 3. So I’m assuming this just builds off 4 and I’ll hate it too lol

I actually liked Fight Night Champion the most in that series, the story mode was great.
Gameplay and graphics are the best in the series yet.
The campaign is so-so. Lots of grinding once you become title holder and wants to go up a weigh class (at least for me).
I played UFC4 for about 2h and went back to 3, but now i think I can uninstall that and go with this from now on.
Best 1vs1 fighter for fun couch multiplayer imo.

Agreed, I picked this up on sale and it’s a blast. Playing the cpu on legendary and in sim mode is the way to go, gameplay seems balanced and fun. Loved that I’ve had fights with the same fighters play out in multiple different ways
