Pretty sure they are different. The Upgrade film that came out a few years ago is awesome, though.

Agreed, it was a ton of fun. Leigh Wannell, the writer of all the Saw and Insidious movies, wrote and directed it. He also directed the Invisible Man movie from a couple years back. Supposedly he was working on a sequel series or movie to Upgrade, not sure if that's still on.
