To me, this game looks outdated. Looks like they remastered a generic 90's shooter and threw in abilities to make it seem modern. I know it is in beta, but visually it looks meh. Animations are garbage. Gunplay seems non existent.Abilities are dull .

I've been watching it a bit the last couple of days. Pretty boring to watch but willing to at least try it out if I get access. One of the characters shoots little orbs just like that monk character in Overwatch lol.
Dev said its PC only for now, but it's possible for consoles later along the line. It will also have NO aim Assist, like CS:GO, so if they add controller support, you are handicapping yourselves.
I can understand & it been a big debate about the strength of aim assist in Fortnite, Gears 5, & many games with crossplay, etc for a long time.
In a game where pixel-perfect aiming is such a critical part of the gameplay, have a strong aim assist, like the ones in COD will reduce the skill gap, & the game is selling as a competitive FPS PvP game, not a causal Friday game, ala League of legend & well, CS:GO.
But that will eliminate many people who like to play on a controller. But who knows, they may decide to ass aim assist in some for fro controller.
As a game, I think it will satisfy the hardcore PvP FPS players looking for a quality competitive game (Sorry COD fans), that get constant updates & content & not left in the cold like CS:GO. As a spectate/stream game, I think the game isn't particularly interesting to watch. But then, I think the same for League fo legend as well.
I will certainly pick the game ( I presume its F2P anyway) & play to experience for myself.
As far as visuals go, it looks one level below Overwatch even if you are into the style. Weapons are cut & paste reskin IRL weapons from CS: GO.
As a small nitpick, the way the way many guns work just isn't accurate, like charging handle go back & fore when shooting, or cocking the weapon every time the gun is swapped or change of magazine. Even a few session at a local range will teach enough how guns handle & works.

I don't see why they can't put it on console, even if only cross-play between consoles themselves. Playing field would be even then and they can still be competitive.

Plus you don't have to worry about Tencent installing a rootkit on your computer.
Played my first match tonight. It was by accident as I meant to go into training and hit play. Loaded a game right away so didn't want to screw the people. We ended up winning lie 13/8 I think. I finished at .500 KD so I'll take it. Need to learn more on the abilities as I played as Jett and never found a real reason to use any of them.
I followed the game for a while, but man, the game is boring to watch. Not to mention the rootkit.

The game is a bit meh to me in all honesty. It's needs a classic death match mode or more game mode variants because as it is doesn't really make me have high hopes for the games future.
Game died in a hurry on Twitch. To be fair it is still in beta and most of the streamers played it for 8 hours a day for a month straight. I won the two matches I played so there's that, but I had zero interest in playing it anymore and deleted it.

Friends dragged me into the new console only Warface game. Never played it on PC but for a $20 game it's not too bad. Definitely more tactical like CS:GO than other console shooters. Played more of that game in one night than I did with Valorant.
I was going to try that, but didn't like how they were paying Youtubers to promote it.
I haven't played this in forever. Might give it one last whirl, but I don't think this game is gonna catch on the way Riot Games want.
