Last week, Nintendo announced two classic Castlevania titles would arrive on Wii U Virtual Console in October. Today, Nintendo announced Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance would also be released later in the month on the North American shop.

As noted in the North American eShop update, Castlevania: Dracula X is now available, and on October 9, Wii U owners will be able to download Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

Come October 16, the 2002 Game Boy Advance title Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance will be released. The game is set 50 years after Simon Belmont dispelled Dracula’s curse, and stars his grandson, Juste Belmont, who is on a quest to rescue his childhood friend.

Also arriving on Virtual Console October 16 is Game Boy Color title Harvest Moon 2, although it will be released for 3DS.

The biggest release of the week for the North America eShop, is Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It arrives on the shop tomorrow, but you can save yourself some time but downloading the free game update (ver. 1.0.2) today.

Do Nintendo eShop purchases link solely to a user's console hardware still, or rather do they link to a user's account as whole now? I remember hearing previously that if your Wii were to break you'd simply lose all of your eShop games too... is this still the case, or would it now be possible to buy a new Wii, load up your account, and re-download all the games you had previously purchased, hassle-free?

Would love a HD version of PC-Engine Dracula X and Bloodlines. Regardless these are must buys if you enjoy some of the best adventure platforming
