Not lesbians by the way. I mean two hot underwear models who are also male lovers passionately fighting demons side-by-side through the forces of evil willing to sacrifice anything to save one another!

Just tell yourself a character is gay when ever possible.

I want to say I'm not that kind of shipper, but....

Contra already exists.

Also Final Fight. Cody and Mike Haggard... Cody was definitely the power bottom.

Is there a single main character that is gay?

Does Willow in the Buffy game count?

Mass Effect, Fable, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Dragon Age Inquisition.. though those are purely optional i suppose.

Legends of Korra

Trevor from GTA V.

Ellie from The Last of Us.

Ciri from The Witcher.

Athena from Borderlands.

Kung Jin of Mortal Kombat.

State of Decay.

Jacob Frye from Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

The Mortal Instruments also has a great gay couple in the show with Magnus Bane and Alec. I wan to see these two star in their own video game!

Brooks and Dunn. The new Double Dragons.

I have no idea if they are teh gay. But they have to be. Right?

Why would anyone need to know the sexuality of a character? How would this benefit you say in a fps? Does everyone assume every protagonist was straight because the story never touched on their orientation?

jimmyD More gay protagonists would definitely improve the fps! Less hair to render!

I am gay and honestly I don't see the need to make a character gay just for the sake of doing it, I mean really how often is the sexual orientation of a character even mentioned in most games let alone a large plot point? I am totally cool with what games like ME and Fable have done where you can basically make the character what you want them to be without it feeling like a forced issue.

Totally agree...

But Id love to see a gay villiain, that owns an Abortionarium, and spends his weekends luring children into his sweat-shop.

It would be like my biography.

I just had a great idea!

Make Kinect fitness a mandatory nude game, then sell it for coupons, like cam4!

You'll bring in a strong male audience and demographic at any rate.

I was just thinking about how MKX introduced it's gay character, it was subtle and they didn't make it a major focus of his character during the story. I really appreciated the approach they took with that, it made it so gay people could feel included without the character only being involved because he's gay.

I just don't understand why sexual orientation should be included in a game. I really don't care. Imagine them however you'd like.
