You want to know the percentage of pitbulls who havent attacked? Sure, while Im at it I'll find the percentage of hamsters who have never bitten their owner.
Oh statistics? So please show the percentage of Pit Bulls who attack compared to those who don't out of the whole population... I'll wait
Here's an article that says dachshunds are the #1 offender.
Forget pit bulls, rottweilers and Rhodesian ridgebacks, it's the sausage dog that's the most aggressive breed.

I own a weiner dog. She's never bit anyone. Very mild mannered. But I'm not surprised at the statistics. Weiner dogs are melee scrappers.
In Illinois last week, Linda Floyd had to have her dachshund, called Roscoe, put down after the dog gnawed off her big toe while she slept. Mrs Floyd, 56, woke up too late because nerve damage from diabetes had left her with no feeling in her toes.
That's a silly way to look at it
Are you not capable of voicing your opinion without questioning the intelligence of those who dont agree with it?Not at all... If you think killing off a whole type of dog based off a small percentage of the ones that do cause problems (Due to human neglect) then that is not only silly, but very ignorant.

Has JinCA advocated killing all pitbulls? I don't remember him saying that.
I'm just in favor of increased education/awareness. Pitbull owners really need to do their homework, and they often don't.
The thing that bugs me the most is the guys who use pit bulls to look tough. I hate that.
Pitbull is listed #3 there. Number 1 is ...
Public Menace #1.
I think pitbulls are fine. We should be looking at the owners.
The size and strength of a dog someone should get should be related to the person/people that will walk them, train them, and care for them. I've wanted a dog for years. I want a rotty. Because my mother, who's in her 70's, would need to come by from time to time to walk him/her, a rotty makes no sense. If something happens, my dog going off for some reason, or the dog being startled, etc., she would need to be able to handle the situation. With a big dog, or a super strong dog, it wouldn't be a good situation. Unfortunately, people don't always think logically when it comes to getting a pet.
I live about 15 miles from where this took place. So sad .. :/You probably saw this story in the news, but...
Virginia woman killed by her pit bulls in ‘grisly mauling'
A 22-year-old Virginia woman was mauled to death by her dogs while walking them in the woods near her home, authorities said Friday.
Bethany Lynn Stephens’ body was found “guarded by two very large, brindle-colored pit bull dogs” Thursday, Goochland County Sheriff James L. Agnew said during a news conference, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.
Agnew said the dogs belonged to Stephens and suspected that they had been bred to fight, according to the report.
Reports from the medical examiner’s office said Stephens’ cause of death was “consistent with being mauled by these dogs,” the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.
“The first traumatic injury to her was to her throat and face,” Agnew said. “It appears she was taken to the ground, lost consciousness, and the dogs then mauled her to death,” he said.
“It was an absolutely grisly mauling. In my nearly 40 years in law enforcement, I’ve never seen anything quite like it,” he said. “I hope I never see anything like it again.”

Yuck. What a way to go. I heard there were like 30 "pieces of evidence" strewn about the area.
I have a 12 year old dachshund, a sweet little girl. She's probably not likely to maul me to death any time soon.
I find the idea of a woman raising fighting dogs a little strange but if she was...
Welp no fuks given here to be honest.
I thought that when I read it at first too but I think they could mean that whoever was the breeder she got them was breeding dogs to be fighters.
Unless they're s***ty kids... You can't return them once you're stuck with them.I wouldn't mess with them. Love dogs but pit bulls, german shepards, etc are nuts. It's a case by case basis but just hearing stories why go down that road? Definitely wouldn't want one around kids.
I would never own a pitbull or allow my kids near them. I'm not going to retread the points made in here, but:
- Because of that, calling this an owner issue over a breed issue is ridiculous. Are there bad pitbull owners? Absolutely. Are pitbull owners so proportionately s***ty to their dogs than any other breed? That doesn't make any sense.
