What is happening to the forums?

Yesterday it was all good, the forums were fast and all that. Now i see a message on the top of the page that my browser is out of date. I have been using IE Metro on my Surface Pro for all this time without problems and now i get this weird stuff. Plus i notice weird lag when scrolling up and down on the forums and what is with the space invaders background? Can't i just disable that?

In general for some reason the forum has become incredibly slow. Videos, pictures, just comments load up way too slow and it wasn;t like this yesterday. What happened?

Yes, for quite a while now.

That did the trick. When the new forum came i had put it in the compatibility settings, otherwise it wouldn't let me click on the message field and thus couldn't reply. Forum is great again!
