What movies have you seen recently?

Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Eh...6.5/10...Maybe im just getting over the over-the-top monsters. The cyclops octopus just looked too cartoony to me. The first one was better.

I can agree about the cyclops monster but there's another 2 hours right after that are great.

Lightyear - eh

Kind of an interesting premise, but a bit boring and annoying. But it did look great and Zerg was mildly interesting.

I can either watch Jurassic Park: Dominion, or try watching Citizen Kane which is apparently the greatest movie of all time (never seen it)

Let's try Jurassic Park.... (could it actually be ok with the heads up that it's awful?)

We'll see. Maybe Citizen Kane ends up being the palate cleanser.

Neither. Find anything else.

Saw Thor. Don't understand the hate. It was not as good Ragnarok, but it was fine.
i am seeing this with most marvel stuff online, its becoming "cool" to hate on them, they have never been 9/10 bar a couple but its always supposed to be fun entertainment which they have been

Maybe, but this one does have issues. Lady Thor is kinda forced and not really needed at all. The humour is very hit and miss, and Gorr is kinda wasted. I don't think it is a terrible movie, but Ragnarok took huge leaps forward and Love and Thunder is a big step backwards.

I don't know about it being the Goat movie, but Citizen Kane was easily the most innovative of it's time regarding cinematography ( liek Metropolis in it's time ). It does have a slow pace, but respect the use of 'Noir' high contrast lighting that is oddly beautiful. Also, had composite shots and very complex zooms.

I think he also wanted literally everything in sharp focus which is more awkward to pull off than you'd think.

I have no idea what you went with, but I feel like everyone should see Citizen Kane at least once. I didn't personally love it due to it just being aged out, but I could tell how well shot and acted it was.

Modern Day Citizen Kane would be Kung Pow! Enter The First of course.

It's horrible and anyone seeing it for the first time today and claiming it's good is a pretentious tool , just like the"Seventh Seal", it's pretty much unwatchable today.

There you go lol
