What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Nah it was perfect but people didn't "get it" so every news organization back then was going on about how viewers hated it.

It's very simple. There is an episode earlier in the last season where Tony and Bobby are talking in a boat while fishing and one of them says (I'm going off memory here) How do you think it all ends?

And the other says I don't think you'll even know it's coming.

Because when the guy (and if I'm spoiling the Sopranos ending for anyone, come on it's decades old now) comes out of the bathroom at the restaurant and pulls a gun on the family and cuts to black and then that's it, I got that that was implying they were all just whacked, which is what can happen when you're in the mafia.

Great ending IMO. But to each their own.
It was David Chase trying to show everyone that he is a genius. Awful.

The Last Kingdom Season 5 - Good. Been a very good consistent show. Just the movie to finish it off now.

Citadel - Terrible.

Taboo - Good.

I actually started watching The Last Kingdom S05....... Thinking I hadn't already seen it.

The it started to happen, wait why is this all so familliar?

I have seen S05.

I have not watched the movie. Let me do that now.

The Last Kingdom:Seven Kings Must Die finale movie - Not a fan of this at all. Should have been a season. Felt rushed. Not a fan of the end either as it is religious bias.

Shame. 5 great seasons and then they dropped the ball with this finale.

I don't think they dropped the ball..........

Pretty sure they made the movie to tie things up, because fans were unhappy with the season 5 finale which was supposed to be the end.

I enjoyed it. And I am going to miss hearing "I am Uhtred, son of Uhtred"

I need a show to binge,

There's no way Happy Valley season 3 is that good?

Anyway, I liked the first 2 (I think I watched the 2nd season?)

I'll report back. Can't trust these ratings. It's just a simple British crime show....

Inuyashiki: LAST HERO

Watched the first few episodes.

I find this a very ususual take on dropping OP super powers on random people. Unfortunately, one in a young person who seems to have already been a psychopath. The other is a good hearted old man who has been stuck in a mediocre life with kind of a s***ty family.

Both happen to be in the park and when an interdimension alien craft crashes and squashes them. The aliens vaguely follow or cheat on their Prime Directive by rebuilding both of them with the tech they have on hand wich is alien weapon systems.

Both gradually realize they have been changed and have weird abilities. Mostly, I kind of enjoy the approach of the show toward the affect of this on the characters. They really dont even change that much, they are just enabled to be 'more' of what they already were.

Mostly, interested to see an old neglected guy suddenly become a superhero as this genre is oversaturated, this take feels unique.

Silo (Season 1) - Loved it

Be warned it starts off slowwww. Season 2 just started filming so I'm guessing it'll be here next spring. I can't freaking wait.

The Witcher - Season 3 Part 1 - Extremely disappointed. Confounding editing and storytelling, unfocused, too much time on pointless characters and meaningless subplots, extremely low budget looking costumes and sets, etc. Not sure if I'm even going to watch the second half of the season.

Catching Kilers - Season 1 and half of Season 2 - Great. Short episodes, yet plenty of detail without unnecessarily drawing things out.

I'll watch the second half and then I'm done.

Yes, way better imo. I think all 10 episodes are now available.

"Hmmm, I think I wanted to watch this show"

I did watch it, and loved it. It was really short and sweet.

Dang season 2 is right there! Thank you SO much!

Sharp Objects - Very very good
The Bear Season 2 - Great
What we do in the Shadows Season 5 - Good so far
Jack Ryan Season 4 - Short but good

Wrath of Becky: Trash movie

First one was great. This sequel was boring and is trying to create a John Wick type of universe.

Edit: Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread.

Finished the show. The antagonist didn't have much depth, but enjoyed most of it and the main character.

This was unexpected lol
