Subtitles are the way to go and there is plenty of English but they also do have an dub from the actual cast

My dad suggested some movie that he read "was even better than Oppenheimer"
And I'm like pffft, doubt it. The concept of this movie is depressing. I might just delete it and get into other stuff. It's called The Zone of Interest. I need some other content. Shogun sounds promising so thank you for mentioning it.
Well I just watched the last episode of Masters of the Air.
Great mini-series. 9 episodes.
F the Nazis. I feel like I've seen every other angle accept for the pilots and bombing.
Crazy stuff, the whole war was crazy obviously. I appreciate the education and also the hope that this series bestilled.

I started Outer Range on Amazon Prime recently I’m a few episodes in. Digging its weirdness so far. Josh Brolin is great like always.
Great first season. Loved it. Season 2 is still planned and I think they were currently shooting it or something.

One episode into Shogun and yeah it seems a worthwhile watch.
The Brothers Sun - This was surprisingly fun. Kinda Rush Hour-esque but with Triads instead of cops. Has some laughs. Has some decent action.

Halo Season 2 - Fantastic. So much better than the first.

I just started watching this and was like "why is the first episode so f***ing long?" (it's an hour and 7 minutes)
And came here to talk about it. I think this is a must watch. Not sure if I've seen the movie but this seems absolutely worth watching.

3 Body Problem - I didn't think it was all that. It isn't a bad show, but it is predictable. Follows a well saturated story. Has 1 or 2 cool scenes. This actually strikes me as a show that would have had far more impact 20 years ago.

I watched The Gentlemen (movie) from beginning to end. I've watched this before but I must have been drunk or something, because it was all new.
Anyway, there's 3 songs in that movie that I love, and I want to post those songs.........and continue with the TV version which I think is really good and worth watching.

I enjoyed it for the most part. The final episode/showdown was really well done.
My wife and I watched season 4 of True Detective. We liked it. Glad it was only 6 episodes instead of dragging it out. Good cast.
Did find it a strange choice they leaned into the paranormal this season though.

Watched Parasite from netflix.
It was probably one of the weaker Korean show I watched. So apparently Koreans can make bad shows as well.
Main Villain is weak source, Main Protagonist is classic emo tropes, her supporting npc, the dude (sorry I cannot remember Korean names, just call him Jim) fit the comic relief occasional useful tropes. Every char is a trope with very litte depth. No charc arc, growth, never cared for her. Whole premise is high school essay level.
Basically, the type of story from "modern" Hollywood writers. I expect more from korea. Oh well.
I give it a 5.8/10

I mean Curb is legendary. It will be missed.
Finished up The Gentlemen S01 and it was great.
Shogun is great.
Now I'm about to watch episode 2 of A Gentleman in Moscow (Ewan McGregor) Based on the first episode it is another highly recommended watch.
