What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Has anyone here seen the newer series Criminal United Kingdom on Netflix? I heard it recommended on a movie podcast group I’m part of. They suggested giving the episode Alex a shot first (starring Kit Harington from GoT). That episode had me glued to every word and movement. This show is very well done! Basically it is interrogations and each episode is a different suspect. Highly recommend checking this out. Now I want to watch the other episodes. Only 7 in total around 40 mins each.

Sooooooooo..........

I'm 7 minutes into Fargo S04E01

What a delight. This show just does not fail. We'll see how it goes but it's just one of those for sure awesome things. I got the day off today and will be fully immersed in the first two episodes that aired last night.

FARGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banana::bang::grin::bow::crazy:

Yeah, I was a little worried about Fargo season 4, like it might not be as good as the last 3 for whatever reason.

They're not even seasons though, they're like continuing mini-series on a masterpiece level.

You can't even overhype it.

Weird thing though, I used to really like this musician Andrew Bird, and I'm watching the show and going "is that Andrew Bird? wtf?" and it was him (went to IMDB immediately)

He's really good at whistling. I wonder if that will be something that happens?

Also, the Intro of the first episode was 38 minutes long. You know, the set-up.

f***ing fantastic.

I know Plainview is excited to watch it :)

Wait Fargo came out already? Did it hit hulu?

It's on FX channel here in Canada, which I have on my cable. Yet I'll admit, I take other means to watch it because I prefer no commercials and having a hard copy of it because I tend to rewatch Fargo episodes. I don't feel like that's wrong because like I said, I actually pay for FX channel on my cable package.

They just came out with new ones on Netflix. Just watch them all they're all pretty good, and there's only so many.

I guess that's where I'm going next because I'm hard up for really good content. Fargo is awesome, but gotta wait now for episode 3 which sucks :(

Came on here to declare that I've become addicted to Schitt's Creek. I'm Canadian and have had this show available to watch since it's first airing, and I watched the first couple episodes and liked them a lot, but wrote it off for some reason or another.

I saw that it won all these Emmy's (which doesn't mean anything to me other than....) Holy s*** this show must have stayed REALLY strong to be winning Emmy's at this point.

I can't explain to American's what it's like to watch a show as a Canadian and think "this is a Canadian show" but somehow it's off-putting. I figured this was just a Canadian sitcom akin to whatever sitcoms were going on back then (like Modern Family at best?)

It's really good. Also, Eugene Levy come on! Catherine O'Hara? Apparently it's Eugene's son that is big behind the whole writing of the show and stuff. And it's filmed near me.

Anyway, I'm bingeing Schitts Creek and having a good time. It's a great show to realize how up your own ass you might be.

Then I see my last couple posts and realize Fargo S04E03 is probably live, so I'm going to do that now.

Oh right, SCTV. Just wanted to wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!! Thank you for letting your capitalism and s*** ass politics blossom and bloom over to us humble neighbors but just remember:

i miss new movies coming out and going to cinema

EDIT: just realized i posted in TV show thread lol

Star Trek: Lower Decks Finale = A+

The season started out pretty meh. I thought it was a Family Guy rip-off (ironically). But the characters grew on me and the show's charm grew on me. The finale knocked it out of the park!

Still not as good as The Orville though.

Schitts Creek (Up to almost end of season 3) - Good

Really enjoy the sarcasm, and dry humor.
The show is alright, just feels a little cheap(idk if that's the right word). Honestly it just made me want to rewatch Arrested Development, which I definitely did lol. I've seen most of the show with my ex, and she absolutely loved it. I just don't think it's as good as every other person does I guess lol.

I will say it's cool that a Canadian TV show took over the way it did, and it's good to see good respected comedies still being made. Feel like either I'm out of the loop or there just hasn't been a ton of great comedies recently.

Another Canadian show I'm a huge fan of is Letterkenny. Not for everyone but I think it's great.

Didn’t know it was a Canadian show. I described it to friends as a show in the same vein as Arrested Development, but not as good because nothing can touch that show. It also has more love in it as well where as Arrested Development had far more, justifiable, resentment between family members.

I’m on season four episode 13.

"to the lake"
Russian virus outbreak (not zombies, just a killer flu).
Pretty stellar shot series imo.

Just don't watch the dubbed version lol, never understood how English, german, spanish and italian speakers can watch dubbed movies, it's hilarious.

Also cannot do the dub. I watch that jank with subtitles on no questions asked.

Also it helps hide when someone is a bad actor lol

My wife and I enjoyed The Outsider on HBO. Hoping they continue with the characters.

Fargo. Another episode has aired and I will devour it right after I re-watch the last episode (and also still working on Schitt's Creek)
