Kind of a general question, I know, but how would you describe the types of games you like and dislike? I'm thinking in terms of game genres or types, but use whatever descriptors you like.

Here's my list.
Likes:
- Games with interesting stories and characters.
- Western RPGs, particularly open-world ones that feature a lot of exploration/discovery.
- Action-adventure games that put me in a exotic location or interesting world (e.g., Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, Uncharted).
- Unusual games (e.g., Deadly Premonition).
- An occasional shooter.
- Open-world games, especially when the world feels alien.
- Games that can elicit an emotional reaction from me (besides just frustration or amusement).
Dislikes:
- Survival horror games (don't like being scared)
- Online competitive shooters like CoD and Halo
- Games with a dark, oppressive atmosphere/visuals (e.g., Bloodborne, lots of military shooters)
- Fighting games
- JRPGs, especially those with turn-based fighting mechanics
- Puzzle and strategy games (I like occasional puzzles, but I don't want a whole game of them)
- Most racing games, although I like some arcadey racers (e.g., Burnout)
