Why do people prefer the PS4?

Yeah, I'm 95% sure. The parallels were pretty striking -- the 100% Sony allegiance, the constant involvement in fanboy arguments, the moral overtones to his crusade.

The real giveaway, for me, was what happened with the 2 to 1 "metrics" stuff. He alienated pretty much the whole forum and became a joke. His reaction when backed into a corner was to be a self-righteous victim, distraught, blaming, unable to accept any fault, framing everything in terms of contempt ("disgusting" behavior, etc.) with lots of moral outrage. That was exactly how GP behaved and was exactly the same kind of dynamic GP/Puppet created at TXB. That convinced me.

Then, right after we had the discussion about him being GP -- one of several, actually, but this one was more pointed -- he disappeared from the forum and hasn't been seen since. Granted, he could just be on a really long Christmas holiday, but that's pretty coincidental.

Anecdotal. Not kidding, I don't know a single person that prefers the XB1. I know a few that bought both, and still prefer the PS4.


Not everyone cares about Kinect. There's a reason the PS4 has outsold the XB1. For months, people knew of the better hardware and lower price, and sales are reflecting it....and that's considering PS4 is still not fairly easy to find, with more XB1s in the stores.

I know the PS4 came out a head of the X1 by a week, but I haven't seen anything from MS or Sony stating that one has outsold the other. Last we heard, the X1 was selling faster.

I actually hope he does. For all the headaches he causes, he was one of the few remaining Sony fanboys we had left here. I could name 6 Xbox fanboys who are very vocal on this forum, but I can only name 1 remaining PS fanboy. In a forum that already leans heavily Xbox, that's not great. The balance of fanboy power has been disrupted.

It's not selling faster. It's already been shown that ps4 sold faster/more in the same amount of days as xb1.

I'm pretty much the same way. I bought both and while I think the xb1 is aight I still end up playing my ps4 more because I keep getting multiplat games for it as they are better on it. The only exclusive I cared about on xb1 was Ki so that was a wash with Kz. I just started getting into BF4 and of course I got it on ps4 instead of xb1 because it's better on ps4. As soon as an exclusive comes out for xb1 that I'm interested in (titanfall) I will jump right on it but there is no reason to get multiplats on xb1 which leaves it collecting dust for the moment.

X1 fan and ad much as I would like to think its true, I don't think it is. Went into Wall Mart this morning after work. No 4s anywhere X1 was stocked full. I'm not saying they both aren't selling but whether its blind internet following, or the 4 being a really good console ( never played it don't want it love my X1) The fact is as soon as they get on the shelves there gone.
Although another reason could be people buying and selling them on the internet. Wich would explain the 2-1 sale ratio I've been reading about.
Either way they are selling.
If you have a One just enjoy it, be glad you have it. The games are great, and unless your a tech enthusiast there is no difference in muti plat games.

Last i read 1million copies of ghost. compared to X1 best seller DR3 of 600k. Read a couple of weeks ago so the numbers could of changed dramatically.
