So I picked up this game for my PS Vita after deciding to even buy a VITA to play remotely with my PS4 games. It sounded like a great idea and I was really excited with trying out KZ:SF with it. In any case, I really like the KZ series and wanted to get Mercs to go along with my collection. The first thing that grabbed me was the incredible graphics. I was in awe at how detailed the game was and so many tech features found in KZ:SF was indeed in this game. It wasn't until later that I found out that they both use the same graphics engine. Guerrella Games has a truly talented programming team. I just can't fathom how they was able to make the game look so pretty. In any case, here are some things that make this game much better than KZ:SF:
* The story is more cohesive and makes sense.
* The weapons can be chosen both PRIMARY and secondary weapons.
* You can choose your alternative weapon, armor and grenade type.
* You aren't stuck with the OWL all the time. You can choose other means of destruction.
* Has a true stealth combat system (gas grenades, tranquilizers, etc..).
* Melee combat is the best in the series -- bar none. Why didn't KZ:SF copy that system?
* Music is incredible.
* Replay missions for added game-type solutions (covert, demolition, etc..).
* MP is seamless and more enjoyable.
