What specifically would hiring a Japanese developer, for the sake of hiring a Japanese developer, actually bring to the table for Fable’s development?
If would give Fable a better chance of ending up a good game.

Coming from someone who doesn't think Japanese games are good but yet they receive countless praise since gaming's beginning.

Phil said he'd like to get a Japanese developer. It would be cool to have a Japanese team go wild with whatever they really want to make.
Anyone else notice how Sony fans will go out of their way to try to convince Xbox fans to not like Xbox and Sony is somehow better? Its so strange. Why do they care so much where Xbox gamers spend their money or what games or system they like? Its a very strange phenomenon.
Fable playing like Dark Souls would not be my cup of tea. But could be interesting.
hmmm, Azurik reimagined like dark souls/Jedi-fallen-order with more of an eastern bright take visually???

I'm not expecting a ton of games. Maybe a couple. Maybe they'll take some of the feedback to heart and put together an Initiative tech demo demo. Microsoft execs have a tendency to go back to the well on things that worked in the past so I expect they'll save a couple things for the Awards show late this year. Will give their studios a shot to put something more impressive together and maybe a mindshare boost for the last second holiday purchases.
I think August is their console features show. Backwards compat. Studio purchase announcements. Lockhart. Price. One game announcement surprise.
