Xbox One X

Wow that is dramatic.

Now I really want to see what Bree Olson looks like in a native 4K UHD porn movie.

The loading improvements seem to vary greatly depending on the game, I've seen videos where the loading was only improved by a couple of seconds and in some instances there was no improvement at all. Any improvement is great but it seems like we shouldn't expect every game to get dramatically better loading times.

There was an article awhile back about load times that basically said that we're still limited by slower hard drives. Solid state drives would fly, but of course would drive the costs up a ton. Memory and everything else help some but the HDs kind of hold things back.

I notice the same thing on my new gaming PC. I splurged on everything except stuck with a standard HD and load times are still a bit of an issue.

I wonder why GTA V gets a "1 minute" loading improvement. Like from 1:20 to :24.

Oh yeah for sure, that's going to be a limiting factor until another option is found or SSD's come way down in price. I've just seen some posts here talking about improvements which are good but I watched videos last night showing that loading wasn't much faster in several games and in one game in particular it loaded at the same speed as the One S. Being that it has a 5400rpm HDD miracles shouldn't be expected.

My OneS and it's 1TB storage is way too small imo.

I just ordered a 4TB external HDD last night, with the size of these One X games and my love for open world titles I think I'll run out of room pretty fast on the internal drive.

Unless you want to play Sophie's choice with your data, definitely. How much did that run you?

Since my Xbox one crapped out, I wonder how I'm going to transfer my info to the X. Most of my games are on an external hard drive but I do have stuff on the internal.

I'd assume that not only will the X transfer data faster it will also unpack the loaded data faster than the 1X.
So it seems like for the MAJORITY of people they will probably have substantial speed improvements.

Surprised to see some of the IQ upgrades without patches. BF1 was way clearer.

Can you remove it and plug it onto the new console to do a data transfer?

4TB and live on easy street.

8TB if you want to chuckle whoever you see a 100+GB game download.

Anyone with a slow connection, find a new friend with an Xbox One and a good connection and transfer games from their harddrive and then make up an excuse to leave immediately after.
