Yeah it's an odd step back after Kiwami 2 which looked beautiful.
Sounds like a Kiwami 3 was planned but dropped in the end.
Having played 0,1 and 2 first I've enjoyed the slower opening chapters more this time round.
Think they should have kept the originals style rather than go for realistic
Stylistically the right looks nicer..why did they change it?
I'm enjoying 3. It's tempting to download 6 but I'm going to finish the others first.

Gonna have to disagree. I think the new lighting/shading is substantially better
Just play on normal. If you fail a bunch of times the game automatically asks you if you want to switch that part to easy.Well just started my first Yakuza ever. Yakuza 0 on XSX. Playing on easyHaven’t hit gameplay yet. Just got my 10% cut from the loan shark.
Yakuza 3 was just ok. Rikiya was MVP though. Funny how one of the more likeable characters is in 3.

Yakuza 4's final boss fight is terrible. It really pissed me off. All this badassery for 30+ mins and then at the end an unfair, almost unplayable battle. How did this not get changed after play testing? I'm glad I beat it. Next up is 5.
Yakuza 5 was good. Fun gameplay and better execution dealing with multiple protagonists than in 4. Alot of heart was put into this one.
The game took 59 hours to finish(!)..pretty crazy. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Finished Yakuza 6. It was impressive! And it was dope AF. Yes, that really sums up the game. Yakuza 6 is dope.
I think 5 was better overall, but the improved graphics in 6 really pull you in. The subquests were voiced too this time around(!), which I really appreciated.
Takeshi Kitano and Tatsuya Fujiwara in there as well (Battle Royale).

3 really needed a remake. It was a slug to play when it originally released and its not aged well.
Currently playing Like a Dragon and I love it but I am at this huge difficulty spike right now that kinda sucks,I have done a lot of fighting,side stuff,jobs,bonds, including raising 3 million bucks for ''reasons'' and for this Boss fight,I am 8 levels behind...I mean this is ridiculous and at close to 50 hours so far,having to grind for that part is making me want to stop playing.

What difficulty? One of the reasons I play on Normal or lower now because it's just artificial grinding which is annoying.
