That thread title in particular was paying homage to the show itself, so while your point is valid, you may have picked a bad example.

Doesn't really matter.. people are usually attempting to be clever with vague thread titles, doesn't hurt the forums any less. That is an extremely vague reference really.. I "got it" once I went into the thread as I instantly heard the main characters voice saying "Good news everybody" but it doesn't mean that even an avid fan of the show would even assume it seeing the thread listed.

And it won't be indexed by search engines as well.. more likely that duplicate threads will be created..

The only "good" that comes of it is some short-lived "that was clever!"
 
I thought that title was fine lol, it left me wanting more. I was like "what is the good news?! I have to click on this thread to find out!".
