Is anyone sticking with the Xbox 360?

I've got loads of games to play on 360 before I leap to next gen. Also, Xbox One and a single game at launch is far too close to the £500 mark for my liking. I'm happy to wait until its game library fills and the price inevitably drops on the console and some of the games.

I'm sticking with it for awhile for sure. I don't show my 360 enough attention currently to warrant purchasing a new console. Plenty of amazing games I am ignoring now....why drop $500 for a new system with some launch games that really aren't anything that special.

I'm not dissing the launch lineup, it's just Forza was never my thing anyway and the other titles certainly aren't masterpieces (we can assume) compared to some of the amazing games on 360 that I haven't even gotten to yet.

I'm still finishing up games from the original xbox on my 360 and ps1 classics on the ps3 so I'll definitely be sticking with them for quite some time longer. Not to mention all the new stuff I still have to catch up on and the arcade games. I'll probably get the X1 in about two years and add the ps4 if any of the exclusive by then interest me. Too bad they're no backward compatible or else I would probably be picking up at lauch just for all the extra features it has.

I am not sure, as I got a trade in deal (Slim 360 console + 3 games 100€ rebate for xbox one) by Gamestop in my town.

I still have SF4 Ultra I hope to get (Not sure why Capcom cannot release a next gen version). I recently got gears 3 for 9,90€, & Skyrim cost less than 20€ now. There are a lot of good deals for some games I missed over the years. I will see. But I also do not have space for a new console, as the TV desk are already full with my bluray player & xbox each sitting on the 2 compartments it has.

But no matter, the 360 have serve me well (barred the RROD) this generation, & give me plenty of enjoyment. I never regret not getting a PS3 at all.

Yep, launch games do suck. Especially a few years after the fact.

might have to hold off till early next year, will have one by the time Titanfall launches

i'll be unplugging my 360 (never to be played again by me) and putting the Xbox ONE in it's place, my eldest daughter claimed the 360 as soon as MS revealed there was going to be a new Xbox.

I will stick to the 360 for a while...because of the E3 thing,I pre-ordered a PS4...then came the reversal and all but I will get one early next year for sure lol...the 360 was my favorite console last gen, even though I like my PS3 as well...

I will stick with 360 for as long as Free With Gold lasts... It will take a year and a half before they are cranking out the really good games for the next gen consoles...

Im sticking with 360 for now. Still have games to beat and some i have yet to play.

Might get a XBox One after the first of the year.

I'll be sticking with this gen for at least another year or two if I was rich I would buy whatever I want but since i'm not and this terrible economy is still kicking my ass I really have no choice.

I'll be giving my 360 to my daughter to have in her room (my son already has one) the second I get my X1 set up.

Play a 360 after I get my X1??? Psssssssh! Ain't nobody got time for that!

2014 looks pretty interesting as well.

I'll keep my playing my 360 and PS3 until the spring or early summer. Usually I don't miss out on new releases like this but I'm getting older and my patience has grown. There are still plenty of games left to be played on the current systems to hold me over.

I'll be getting the Xbox One as soon as i can but i'll always hold onto my 360 because it's one of the best consoles of all time with amazing games. Since the One isn't backwards compatible it's an easy choice to hold onto the 360.

This is the mentality I have going into just about every generation, but then I never actually end up playing any of my old games at all.

I'll probably move my 360 to another room, but I have too many games left to play to just abandon it. Plus I'm sure I'll still be messing around on GTA V online(if it starts working) for the foreseeable future.

I've been done 360 gaming for a while. I think if I try selling/trading all this stuff in I might get $100-150 worth tops. Not worth it. I'll either keep it and put it in my bedroom, or just give it all away to a friend or family member. I'm thinking holding onto it so I can still play the XBLA/Indie games.

I'm in the backlog club and adding more games than I'm completing sadly . I plan on making my 360 into fighting cabinet / retro gaming machine . Haven't even really started collecting my PS3 game collection but I plan on buying all the must have titles for it as well .

This gen I've owned more games than any other but will probably be my last I buy so many games .

I'm getting an X1. I can't pass up on BF4 (at 60fps is going to be great) and Forza. I'll keep my 360 hooked up though. I'm betting we'll get bored with launch titles pretty quickly, and there's probably going to be a gap before Titanfall comes out. We'll see if I actually go back and play the 360 much.

Backward compatibility will make the decision much easier, oh well. I would have sell the console, but keep some of my favorites.

I considered selling all my games/consoles to help pay for next gen, but the amount of money I'd make it just too small.

I am staying with Xbox 360 for now and will get either an Xb1 or PS4 next fall. After a year or so we will learn which console has a fatal RROD type glitch. Plenty of good 360 games to play until then.

I'm planning on finishing GTA5 and then moving directly to the One at launch, followed by a PS4 purchase in early 2014.

Dark Souls 2 will be my last current gen game in March 2014.

I'll be keeping 2 360s primarily as Windows Media Center Extenders pretty much indefinitely at this point (until the One gets MCE support which probably won't happen or until the FCC f*cks us cable card users).

The Xbox One is going in the living room with a 360 hooked up to it for TV via MCE and the occasional 360 game. In the bedroom, the current 360 will remain by itself for a year or so, and when I'm relegated to that room, I'll game on the 360 in there and finish out my backlog over the next 6 months or so. I'll eventually get a One for the bedroom as well but not a priority at this point.

I'm just keeping mine around for GTA online and once I'm done with that it'll be gone.
