Diablo Grande, California.
Just wondering how many people are planing on holding of buying the Xbox One and instead sticking with the 360 (for now). It's not my plan personally but I feel there's still life in it yet and with games like Battlefield, Call Of Duty coming soon and GTA V, Diablo 3 and the new Fifa being recently released. It makes me wonder will everyone be jumping on to the new generation bandwagon.

It could be construed as quite intelligent to wait until next year when the new console(s), developers ext have had time to settle down and really get to grips with what the new generation of gaming offers.

No but ill keep playing mine thanks to GTA, Batman and a few other games I still have to finish.

I might keep it a little longer if I think I'll still want to play GTA Online. Quite honestly, I think the chances of that are pretty slim at this point. I'll likely unload both it and the PS3 when the new systems release.

That would be me. I'm going to buy another 360 when they drop the price. I'll pick up a X1 next year. There's nothing coming out that makes me want to get one at launch. I'm a RPG guy and there's no big RPG's due yet for the new systems. And I can tolerate BF4 on 360 for now.

I will keep my Xbox 360 for at least a year. I am going to sell all my completed games and save my back log to finish those. If there is an Xbox 360 exclusive that I MUST HAVE in the next year (can't think of one?), I will buy it.

I'm not getting rid of my 360, so there's still a chance I could play it from time to time. I am jumping to the X1 on day one though.

I traded mine in a couple weeks ago. I plan on re-purchasing it later to play Rock Band.

I kept my original Xbox for about 6 months after the 360 launched, don't think I turned it on even once.

I'm not selling either the Playstation 3 and or the Xbox 360 and I am sure (for a few months at least) I will find myself playing both the older console(s) more then there new generation counterparts.

I'll probably give it away to one of my nephews down the line but for now I'll keep it.

I haven't turned the console on in ages but its still there "Just in case".

As soon as i'll have some money, i'll buy an Xbox One and a Surface 2 Pro. Before that i'm sticking with my xbox 360. It could, and probably would, take months until i'm financially ready.

I'm waiting a year to decide which console to get, and I'll likely keep my 360 for the tons of Kinect and Rock Band/Guitar Hero games I've got.

I'm sticking with ps3 and 360 this year and wont be jumping into next gen consoles until spring next year. After i finish gta 5, there is a back catalog i need to attend to from 2012, i missed most games from 2012 as i was overseas. Unlike many people who sell their old console after they buy their new toy, i keep them. The earliest console lying in my closet is from 1989 (with the purchase receipt intact). The 360 and ps3 will also be added to that collection eventually. The thing with selling them is that if after a few years you want to take a trip down memory lane and want to play the old console, you have to buy it off inflated prices on ebay, so i just keep them.

Yeah, I'm going to squeeze all the life out of the 360 I can, before I let her go. Then it's on to the PS3 and Vita TV. After I've bled those dry, then I will make the jump to the next gen.

At least, that's my plan today. My plans have a way of changing.

Plan on keeping 360 as long as it lives. I'll be jumping back-n-forth between PS3, PS4, 360 & One.

I'm a console hoarder. There's an Atari 2600 in the back of a closet, somewhere. I even fire up the SNES, from time-to-time. Best 16bit system ever made.

Right here. Not willingly, but hay, bills gotta be paid and price cuts come around eventually. I don't feel bad about it though. Plenty of juice left in terms of games coming out on the 360, and let's be honest here, most of us probably haven't played all that the current gen has to offer. My backlog alone is brimming and I finally started playing Assassin's Creed 2. I'll probably wait a year at least before buying a X1. If I wait longer than that, I'll try and net a special edition console. Lots of cool ones got released this gen and I'm gonna try and net me one of those bastards.

Although I am getting an X1 day one, I still need to get GTA5 and South Park comes out Dec. 10th. I also want Fable: Anniversary whenever that comes. I have a decent backlog as well. Ill be playing both for the next few months.

I'll be playing my 360 & PS3 for years. My backlog is huge on both systems. I've still got several current gen purchases to make. I'm talking games released already and a few to come like Batman Origins and Dark Souls 2.

I have two 360's in my household, definitely getting rid of one when One arrives.

I'll be waiting for probably a year to buy a next gen console. (or at least that's the plan) I did this once before and it paid off in regards to the much improved hardware, and I didn't really miss out on much as far as games.

The big one though is that I have such a large backlog (like 18 games!) of top quality games left to play. I have full retail games, arcade games, and some dlc left to play in most every genre i'm into. Plus I have like 5 more games to buy when they get cheap, which includes Skyrim GOTY which by itself will keep me occupied for months.

Also the 360 is going to enjoy years of support after the nexgen consoles hit. I feel real good aboout waiting a little bit this time around.

This... minus guitar hero. Rock Band is still great for parties, especailly when you have over 1500 songs. My 360 will be going to the main room for parties. Xbox One going into the game room.

I will. Still a lot of really good games on the system and next gen means that a lot of AAA titles will be going for bargain prices. X1 is where I'll go when I go next gen but for now I think there's enough on the 360 to hold off things until Titanfall.
