This is pretty frustrating. It says playable at 12:01 am est but I still can't get in. Just says unavailable. Wtf is this.
This reminds me why I usually buy physical too... This first time experience with preordering has been a negative one, not sure if I'm ever going to preorder another game digitally now... I thought MS had this digital thing straightened out since they are a software company.
Just downloaded the app called Forza Hub from the app marketplace. Didn't even know that was coming. Looks like you can redeem Forza Rewards credits from there (except it didn't actually work for me) and there is other news and videos on there.

Seriously, someone needs to take away that Xbox from you. I don't know a person who has had more issues with the Microsoft Xbox One than you. It's like it wasn't your Destiny. I would just trade it in, if I were you. It's just not working out for ya.
On the other hand, Forza Horizon 2 booted up right on time for me, and there were no issues and worked as promised. I even had your drivatar pass me as I was tooling around on my way to the next event. I was like "oh HELL no", and gunned it, and passed right by your gooney white ass. Then that twat, TDbank24 cuts me off like the prick that he is (kidding TD!), but I scooted past him too.
Game is beyond cool. I can't believe how much stuff is in this game, and how deep the menus are with features and options. It's mind boggling.
I so can't wait to spin the tires on this one tonight. I better learn to brake since there are no barriers to keep me on course.
I bought the deluxe edition. Where do I see my VIP status in the game? You know...because I wanted that epeen status!
When not in a race press start/menu and you can select the VIP pass there, but it takes me back to the store where i bought it.
Yeah i don't get it either. But i am still in the early races, probably still the tutorial. Maybe they will unlock in due time? I kinda assumed they would simply be in 'my cars' but nope.
The game starts out like the demo. However, when it's time to choose between 3 cars, they give you the BMW Z4, 69? Chevrolet Camaro and an 80's Toyota Supra. I obviously chose the Z4.Well, I just want the pretty VIP badge next to my name
Then after you pick the car, you can choose from 3 different events. I did a circuit loop event. I had originally changed my drivatar setting to easy...which made the game pause, download the new drivatars from the cloud and then carried on. I did that just to get a feel for the game, but easy was too easy, so after that race I went back to medium settings until I get better, and then I will move the settings up.
So far so good, but I don't have enough time into the game yet! I just got to the part where they activated Anna, the GPS chick. She wants me.

Still. I could've went out and got a copy and the digital still wouldn't have unlocked yet. The issue is I am supposed to be able to play at 12:01 but it didn't unlock. I waited for an hour trying to get it to work, still couldn't so I just gave up and went to bed. Can you understand how this can instantly turn a positive hype into a negative impression?
It's not just me. It was a lot of people that couldn't get it to work. Look at Xbox support's twitter. Many people were pissed off last night.
What's the point of preloading/pre-ordering ddigitally if the thing doesn't work as intended?

I never said it was just you. I was pointing out your luck with EVERYTHING Xbox related, and how it's been nothing but rocky sailing for you. I just find it unnerving.
The online races will no doubt be rage inducing for some. Consider that most of the roads are open without any barriers so get side swiped and off the road you go and with it your chances for the win. Its going to be worse off road.
I'm sure they'll have collisions off option as always.
well no, but it just limits what you can do, so imo, everything else should work as advertised.
