Polygon review doesn't concern me because everything he complained about was pretty much everything I love in Forza games and everything I expect in Horizon 2. He doesn't feel like there is a sense of progression, complaining that the game doesn't get harder, but Forza has never been that type of game. It has never taken that artificial arcade approach where the AI is dog s*** at the start and unbeatable rubberbanded cheats at the end of your career. Forza has always let the player decide. You want a challenge - turn off assists and turn up the AI. The games have never had a career progression and always throw most everything on the table at the onset and said, "you're the car lover - do what you enjoy and along the way we will dole out some cash and cars". Granted, if the reviewer feels real life circuits are more demanding then a sandbox racer with make shift courses then I get that, but maybe that doesn't make for a good reviewer for this type of game. It would be like asking my wife's opinion on Madden. I also don't think a lot of people have the game yet so it misses the entire social aspect and since Drivatars learn from the user base data, it is a bit unfair to critique that as a flaw this early. The guy is welcome to his opinion. His opinion is just stupid though.
