The Nintendo Switch live stream topic

The EA FIFA announcement is a little disturbing, cause they never said FIFA 17...which leads me to think it will be some weird mish mash of older titles that will be labelled FIFA Switch or something.
Sounds like a mobile version

Overall, this thing is far worse than I anticipated. I'd only want one for Mario and Zelda, but not for the ridiculous price being asked.

Mario and Zelda had me hype. until I find out Switch is 300 and the Pro controller 70. Nintendo pisses me off once again. I swear Microsoft and Nihntendo are the most fustring companys I ever seen in gaming. :smash:

The good news is Project Sonic is multiplat. Don't hafto buy a s***ty Switch to play it. f*** U Nintendo.

Yeah? I saw 2.5-6
They said game dependant

The only thing bigger than that presentation? TD's red avatar debut. That's right.

What a show. The Switch is going to take the world by storm. Nintendo keeps innovating, they truly are the best in the world at what they do. Super Mario Odyssey looked amazing. Zelda: Breath of the Wild at launch. Splatoon 2. That 1-2 Switch game looks like it could be something great. Arms is the next Wii Sports phenomenon. Can't wait for this console!

Now excuse me while i go order a tent and some hand warmers for when i camp outside Best Buy to get one of these. I'd just order the Switch but it seems like pre-orders are already sold out.

Its probably 6 with 1, 2 Switch.

Actual games though are going to be on the lower end. Zelda and Splatoon 2 are probably around there.

Zelda=2017 must buy game
Switch=2017 must buy new hardware

It launches on Wii U on the same date = maybe not buy new hardware

The game does look pretty good though. Looks to be running a lot smother as well.

Not really. All i see is excitement. Going to be fun to see this thing duplicate the Wii's success while Microsoft and Sony scratch their heads and try to come up with another concept to copy Nintendo like they did with motion controls.

But we got the power! Nobody cares. It's all about the games and it just so happens Nintendo has the best first party developers. The real King is back.

I remember paying a friend to wait outside Best Buy all night in the freezing cold to snag a Wii at launch. What a guy.

That's what we're missing these days. Freezing your nuts off just to be the first to play a new console. This generation has no idea.

I'm really worried for Nintendo. Then again, last time I was worried about them, they killed it with the Wii.

Microsoft gets a ton of crap about lack of first party games. But what has Nintendo released over the last couple of years? Zelda is going to be phenomenal. And Mario isn't far off (hopefully). But beyond that, it's a bunch of repackaged Wii U games.

Please go actually read the comments. Lot of negative stuff after this presentation and complaints about the over pricing

But what has Nintendo released over the last couple of years?

Lots of stuff. Look at the actual Wii U library. They had plenty of games. Just because there was no Metroid or new Zelda built specifically for the console doesn't mean there weren't games. Unlike Sony, and especially Microsoft, they branched out a bit.

Read plenty. Negative for Nintendo? What a shocker. $300 is overpriced? When Scorpio is $500 i'll be sure to laugh, then again it won't be overpriced if it's really as beefy as we're told. Either way, they're screwed on that deal.

Name two games. Name one. In the last two years. The failed Star Fox game?

If the game is only 900p on the Switch, what's the benefit of getting a Switch and the game rather than just getting the game for your Wii U?

That is rediculous!!!

And I don't think the free monthly SNES game is comparable to PSN or Xbox Lives free stuff...

PSN and XBL over here giving away 2-4 games per month, that you can keep, and with certainly better online features. Nintendo has lost their mind.

Last year or so was rough. That's understandable since they were getting ready for the Switch. Before that they had plenty. Splatoon, Captain Toad, and Yoshi's Woolly World come to mind.

Supporting Nintendo and new tech for one. Better controls could be another. Twilight Princess was better on Wii than GameCube. Plus you can take it on the go.

That's what I'm saying TD. I thought Nintendo was holding on to software for the Switch launch. Apparently not. At least so far.

Still got E3. Trust the process. I'm sure 2018 will be the year they unleash a barrage of games. They'll let Mario, Zelda, and whatever third party is doing carry them through this year.

I went into the conference excited to see what Nintendo had. But I came away almost sad for them.

That Sega guy was too much. Not only did he not show or announce a game. But basically said that they're exploring the potential of the hardware to create unique games for it. Nice presenter.

Doesn't it launch before E3? So crap launch line up once again ams it only has Zelda because Nintendo held it back cause they have nothing else

I'll still get one for Zelda and eventually Mario.

Even though I'm about 90% sure Mario gets pushed back. It looked very rough and almost dirty looking. Especially the city part.

Nintendo Ditch LOL. Love the hate before it's even released. If Bethesda is on board that's all you need to know. If they can play along with Sony and Microsoft's vision of scaling games to inferior hardware they can sure as hell support the Switch.

Releasing the xbox 360 version of a 2011 game is nothing to get excited about

Like i said before, they should've delayed the Wii U version to avoid this situation.

Maybe that is their reasoning for never dropping the Wii U price.

Why buy an Xbox One S then? It's going to be the 360 in 10 months.

The Switch has the X1 S and vanilla PS4 on the ropes. Sony and Microsoft will fight the power battle while devs focus on fun games for the Switch. That's how they beat them with the Wii.
