A Virginia man was arrested after a Muslim teenager he allegedly confronted near a mosque in Sterling was later found dead in a pond.

The victim, identified by relatives to The Washington Post as Nabra Hassanen, 17, was walking with friends near the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center about 4 a.m. Sunday after Ramadan prayers when they got into some kind of dispute with a man who drove past in a car.

The friends told authorities that the driver then exited his car brandishing a baseball bat. The teens scattered when the man allegedly attacked Hassanen. Once the friends regrouped at the religious center, mosque officials contacted police.


As a helicopter, police dogs and rescue teams searched for the teen, an officer spotted Darwin Martinez Torres, 22, “driving suspiciously” in the area. Torres was arrested and charged with murder on Sunday. He’s being held in Fairfax County jail, officials said.

Not a peep from the trash 45 about the terrorist car attack in London. Not a peep about the woman who died above. There wasn't a peep about the two that were killed in Seattle. I wonder why? And no, his POTUS Twitter account isn't run by him and he doesn't use it to send out tweets, ever.

It wasn't much of an interview. She called him out on a lot of things. He was barely on it and much of it was her narrating his lunacy and how he came to be. And also how f***tard 45 used him and believes in the s*** hew vomits.

Remember those jobs that Trump "saved" when he was first coming into office? Shockingly it's not really going to work out the way we were all told it would.

As the article goes on to explain, the devil turned out to be in the details. Carrier did commit to retaining 1,069 employees at the Indiana plant for a decade. But those aren’t going to be manufacturing workers. Most of those are engineering and technical positions that were never slated to be laid off anyway. Meanwhile, the money Carrier received in the deal is being invested in automation. So rather than investing in new production and jobs, as Trump promised, the money is going into automation which means replacing humans with jobs with machines.

It was all BS about the jobs. Companies saw an opportunity to use Trump and his millions of twitter followers as a marketing campaign. Better than a super bowl ad. Then they'll just slide the jobs around when nobody is looking.

The idea of Trump bringing manufacturing back to the rust belt is hilarious. It is sad that people fell for it. Manufacturing jobs started falling apart here before I was born in the early 70s.

Sadly they want to blame the people who are taking the jobs in other places instead of the people who made the decision to move them in the first place. Of course often times it isn't a person at all that takes the job but rather a machine,. unfortunately it seems a lot of people don't want to face that reality.
 
Does the small group of men that designed the HCB (tax cut) in secret really want to propose something so sinister that it will never be enacted and then they can blame Democrats for being obstructionists? Or are they that heartless? Even 45 asked for a bill with some "heart".

Yeah politics 101 - Put together something that will never pass and blame the other party. These GOP congresspeople have an election in a little over a year and nobody's seat seems safe anymore so they don't actually want to do anything.

It is better politically to keep Obamacare around as a scapegoat for everything. Hurricane? Blame Obamacare! Economic recession? Obamacare!

The talking heads of the senate say that the money is running out on Obamacare by the end of this calendar year so they "must do something" but I have yet to find fact based articles to back that up.

That's another misrepresentation as I understand it. The exchanges are a mess. (funny thing - health care costs money!). Part of the reason they are a mess is that with a GOP pres and congress, everyone is bailing because why not? Obamacare ultimately doesn't work because it was a band-aid on the existing system which also didn't work.

Obamacare works ok, but costs a lot. I mean guess what? Insuring people costs money. The GOP sold people on some magic pixie dust system that cuts costs yet everyone keeps their same insurance... yeah right. Of course cutting costs means cutting coverage.

Do you want to insure more people and pay for it, or do you want to insure less and save a few dollars? Oh and those people just end up in the ER with bills they can't pay and money that gets written off and charged back to those of us with insurance anyway.

I had an insurance epiphany some years ago when our provider rep drove off in his late model Porche 911 Targa.

I usually watch the previous week's episode on Sunday morning, which makes no sense of course, but I missed out because of Father's Day. So I'm like 2 episodes behind at this point.
