I'm not going to be that surprised if a little unusual numbers of PS4s are faulty. Their design seemed to indicate possible heat dissipation issues, and this being early renditions, broken boxes are expected. Not all or majority of boxes are affected - or it must be that way. It's just that, if X1 does not suffer from the same issue, it will follow everywhere with PS4 for a long time.
I would expect that Microsoft would have taken specific precautions this time, one of those being that big @ss fan and all the vents.
If they end up with another RROD fiasco, then I am truly disappointed with them.

Microsoft has been eager to show whole bunch of boxes working at the same time, so I wouldn't worry too much.

i was in my local Argos the other day and the ps4 they had on display had crashed with a blue screen and the guy who worked said that was the second time that it had gone wrong in the last two weeks and they were waiting for someone to come out to have a look at it.i did see it running before that with a demo of fiffa 14 and it did look a bit sharper than the xbox one version i played at the xbox one tour but that could have been down to the tv.

Completely false. I have never ever "celebrated" someone else's misfortune. It's very sad how the false accusations keep coming. Once again, find a quote. You are projecting with 0 evidence. There is no irony here. Apparently just stating tech facts in response to misinformation or confusion makes one a target for "fanboy" accusations. Who knew?
Aren't you proud of how you and others here behave? I reported that message and apparently it's ok by the mods, so you should revel in how you're allowed to act like that. Don't let me stop you from cheering and celebrating other people's misfortunes, and calling reasonable, rational people "fanboys" while hypocritically making those sorts of posts. Unlike you making false accusations I can easily find quotes to back up what I'm saying. I can look through pretty much any xbox thread regular and find constant name calling, derision, celebrating other's misfortune, and hypocritically attacking others as fanboys.

I've always believed in karma and if you spew such hatred and misery towards something like a gaming console then chances are the forces at will might find a way to balance things out. In other words Sony fanboys(not Sony fans in general just the groupie flunky fanbioys) keep your mouths shut with all the venom in the future. That said,I hope Sony comes out ok and its only a small select amount that are having problems. The one guy on Twitch tv who was streaming his new PS4 but ran into big problems had a happy ending,which is cool. His PS4 wasn't falty afterall.

So if you beat DR3 you unluck MegaMan? Grrrr. makes me abit sorry I went with Ryse and Forza over this game. But I dunno,constantly killing slow moving zombies would get dull for me after awhile. But Forza's a safe bet to give me more enjoyment overall. Nice to see the blue bomber in DR3 though. The hell he'll raise against the dead in this game will be glorious. 
Take your own advice and be wary, the X1 may have it's own issues...

Are you talking about GAF? There is quite a lot of nastiness and venom from "Sony" posters there, yes. Yes people at GAF celebrate other people or game's misfortunes and that's terrible. Some people on this thread are like the pro-MS version of Gaffers, doing the exact same things, on the other hand. I'm not hoping for any game or console to have problems, nor do I celebrate it or think it's hilarious.

Take my own advice? You mean the karma thing? Why would I need to do that. I don't go hating on the PS4, or invade the other forum or link to doom and gloom rumors about the console.

Gaf and YouTube,yes. Oh I'm sure there are the same type here that invade the Sony forum here and make it annoying to read their s***. I've only been at the other forum once to post about owning a PSone, seemed civil. But I don't visit there much. But still I don't think any place can be as bad as Gaf. They win be default. Reason being theyre the largest gaming forum around. So there are tons of people there every minute of the day. Its fun to read news there but this past year its gone to hell. Because the moderation is an absolute joke there now. They've always had a definate Sony slant,the amount of hate that place gave the DreamCast was astonishing back in the day. But I really began to constantly visit that forum allot in since 2001 and have seen allot of craziness go down there. This year its the worst I've ever seen it though. Lots of drive by trolling with no consequences being handed out. And when more and more do this it ruins X1 discussion,news,and game previews. I guess evey forum is gomna have trouble makers,thankfully its kept to a minimum here. The mods are really great here.
