Right, against a TWO teraflop difference. Obviously pumping the resolution is going to eat a lot of that, but more, faster RAM and a faster CPU will obviously increase the overhead. We already see evidence that the extra power is being supported. I'm very interested in seeing how Forza 7 looks on the 'Bone.
MS is also pushing their "Play Anywhere" initiative, which means that PC version are made concurrently, so the games are built at a higher quality than the ONE can handle from the start- which makes higher res assets already available without extra effort.
On the other hand, since it's attempting to push out four times the pixels, it's really effectively only a 1.5 Teraflop machine, and since Xbox One X is a 1 while PS4 Pro is a 4, it's only got 25% of the marketing bandwith available, so it's down to an effective 375 Gigaflop machine. So, really it's going to struggle to even match the Switch's performance.
All the game comparisons at Digital Foundry were just a dream....
Best part is said posters were constantly reminding Xbox owners how huge 900p vs 1080p was. Yet know it never happened. I'm loving it.
That ps4 list is very suspect now because of the poster and the only game on there that has a built in FPS counter and I play often. Planetside 2. It's is NOT 45-60fps on pro, what a load of bull. It drops to low 30s in almost any battle with 30 players.

MS of coarse claimed it to be lower but you can't expect them to say less.

Dude I played the game 2-4 times per week, its not at all. I'm constantly dropping down to mid and low 30s in combat. What's your user name on planetside I'll look you up to see when you' ve played. I played with the fps counter on.

That's not what I asked. I want to see when you've played to test it out. I know I can play the game with you. I see the game running from low 30s all the time myself.

There's a reason we stay away from huge battles, the system can't handle it. I have other examples I can share from reddit where people show it dipping into 20s with boost.
