This is great. A guy who perpetuates the console war, calling out others. Don't take another 10 years getting to 20K gamerscore now, Intelly. :txbrolleyes:

And why would an Xbox fan ever have to feel unwanted here? It's GAF for Xbox. If GAF is PS centric, then Union might as well be Redmond, WA.

Well, as TD points out, this is an Xbox-leaning site. So the fact that more Sony fans are booted for "acting up" is not surprising.

You are one of the few Xbox posters we limited, actually. You and Flynn. Two plastic-promoters if I ever met them. lol Where is ol' Flynn lately, anyhow?

Few people actually request a ban. Can't think of anyone else, actually.

p.s. Oh wait, Flynn did! lol

Pro had out as well and turned out to be a small number in the end. Hell even the switch had hardware reports popping up online and Nintendo's hardware has a great track record

The sad thing is that without the few PS guys here they'd have nothing to bicker about. Like console warriors don't like having other console warriors to go at it with. I find it comical, and am not bothered by it in the least. You can only pretend to play games and have a mayo party for so long before it gets boring.

I can count on one hand how many Xbox fans here actually play games to justify having a reason to feel like their beloved piece of plastic is under attack. But i've probably said more than i should on this topic the last few days. I don't claim to be perfect, just wish others would stop with the charade.

I honestly don't know what we'd do without you Andy. It would literally be f***ing GAF for Xbox if you didn't even it out.

There are other people who bring balance to the forum, though -- Yankee, timmyboy, JinCA, Val, you, postaboy, some others....

Actually, despite it being an Xbox-leaning site, it's pretty kind to the PS4, overall. I think the crowd here is old enough to appreciate a good console when they see it. And most of them (not all) have outgrown the console warrior stage.

Yeah, we try anyway. It's not all bad. The PS forum is slow, it could be booming if we had our own Rollins or something. We need to pay off Shinobi or whoever the SonyGAF guys are. We need more help.

I mean, even though it's an Xbox site we had more people saying they were going to get a PS4 at launch. So that says something. People forget fast though. Last gen it was all peaches and cream for Xbox and PS fans were made out to be lesser gamers. Sucks when the shoe is on the other foot i guess.

No worries TD. I don't play games for Achievement Pts. You gun for 140,000 XB pts in 8 years, and 1,000s of PS trophies. I don't.

True story. You should play more games though, you'd crack 20K by default. I know you don't care, but you'd think anyone who spends hours posting on forums about games would ya know.. play games more. I'd be equally puzzled if someone who doesn't read books showed up at a book club.

The reason more Sony fans are booted (as you say) isn't due to this site being Xbox leaning.

It's because if you look at the Sony guys who get banned or permabanned, it always comes down to more harsh yelling by them (consolewarz, yoyoniner etc...), asking to be banned, or some guys making (and getting caught) creating multiple user names to sneak under the radar.

You and some others might not like the Xbox love some of us enjoy, and we can agree to disagree, but one thing is for certain, you won't find too many Xbox leaning gamers on this site doing stuff like that.

Thing is I don't care about pts. I had fun beating Oblivion way back. If you don't do all the factions tasks and such, beating the game is probably only 100 pts (I forget).

Some CoD games I have almost zero. I don't even do SP anymore. Getting pts strictly from playing MP gets you hardly any.

I played 500 matches of EA NHL online in our TXB team years back. Checking my profile I have 175 pts. Who cares.

I got through about 50% of Skyrim clearing of the map. Number of achievement pts..... zero.

There was a time i didn't play many games though. I only played one game, FFXI. For like close to 8 years or something. So i know how you feel.

I neglected my PS2 and Xbox. In fact, i was so into the game i didn't even know there was a console war going on until 360/PS3 gen.

Oh yeah. I hear you there. I'm playing Metal Gear Solid V now and i'm having multiplayer withdrawals. Haven't played any Gears 4 in a month and it's my most played game ever. Besides FFXI of course. I go back and forth. That's why i like PlayStation and Xbox. Perfect blend of single player and multiplayer. If i didn't sink so many hours into multiplayer games i'd be challenging Stallion83 and Hakoom for most achievements/trophies for sure. What i got is nothing too. So don't feel i'm beating my chest over virtual points, i just enjoy getting them when i can.

I may rebuy Gears 4. I suck at MP, but wanted to see G4 in 60 fps. Slick. But was never good at Gears.

Tempted to get it again for cheap as SP is supposedly 60 fps too. And Horde Mode. Which I liked in Gears 2.

Easy logic baby. 80k week 1 is Xbox 360/Switch numbers

Xbox 360 ships 1.5m in 2005 = sold out til april 2006
Switch ships 2m month 1 = sold out sporadically ongoing 6 months later

To not sell out you need well over 3M. I could sell 3M to CoD/BF fans just by suggesting they have an inferior version.

And yet two of your evening out crew are the biggest warriors on here. One even pretends to like the other console before s***ting on it as often as possible.
 
Most of us own both consoles. I think we are more Union than Team Xbox now

Nah. We're still son of TXB. All the old members transitioned; that's what you see here, mostly (I guess we have a few new faces).

I think this gen, it's hard not to own a PS4, even if you're primarily an Xbox gamer (which I think is the case for most dual-console owners here).

I could do a poll, try to sort out how many lean Xbox vs. PS. I don't believe most people when they say they're evenly balanced. Most lean one way or the other, and it's clear from their posting.

Yeah he brings balance by knocking Xbox but then defends it.

Sony has released excellent games this gen(most and highest rated overall) and until recently had the best versions (tech wise) of 3rd party games...yet he doesn't own a PS4.

Show me a post where I deffended the Xbox games lineup since E3...you can't. The very thing I knock is the same thing I knocked PS4 for. I know, consistency is a bitch.

The PS4 does have some games I think look good and I have said so many times. The thing you're deaf to is that there hasn't been enough to warrant a purchase.

Like I said previously, that looks set to change in 2018 with games like spidey , days gone, detroit...maybe Last of Us 2.
