I'm being neither. I just don't think you can answer without it coming back to Jim Ryan saying hack and slashers don't sell anymore and Barlogs pitch was to make it like the last of us with an axe. Its now about the narrative..cut scenes.
Jim's pretty high up at SIE and he just called classic gow something that "acutely under performs"....why would he greenlight another.
