my non scorpio edition X came with a broken controller, the down button on the dpad mistriggers when pressed.
 
I have 5 different X1 controllers including the Elite. Zero issues
 
The new Controllers that come with the XB1X are definitely of Lower Quality than the Original XB1 and XB1S controllers. The Originals felt like a high quality piece of electronics while the New XB1X versions feel like a Fake Chinese Knock Off.
Why would MS take a Step back?
Probably since everyone was OK with the s***ty PS4 Controllers this gen than MS figured they could do the same and everyone would just be ok with it. This also makes the Elite Controller feel even more Premium. IMO, very s***ty of MS to do this with what should be a Premium Box and controller.

Just returned my Scorpio controller and another controller yesterday. They are trash.

Reading above (which I should've done before posting, I guess), I see that opinions seem to differ.

I'd never heard of this before, so I'm surprised.

I will chime in on this. With my One X I will definitely say that the controller feels cheap as hell. I have an S controller as well and the S controller feels better built and also heavier.
Now I'm not saying that the controller with the One X sucks, but you can't escape the differences in build quality IMHO.
 
You can say that they are lighter (One S & X) controllers. They added Bluetooth to these also.

I play on Elite and find it difficult to use the original controllers due to weight issues more than everything else. I did think that the One X should have had an Elite packed in....

Plastic textured grips, same as One X.

I'm not sure on build quality as I haven't used it yet.

I prefer the original X1 controller, I also got the S and the X controller, but never use them. For some games I use the elite controller, but mostly the orig X1.
 
I have found that the Xbox One X controller feels lighter than the previous ones after the updated them. I have not had a problem with it, but I game with my Elite controller 99.99% of the time. I only happen to grab the X1X controller when we are using two controllers.

I haven't noticed a difference other than the OG Xbox One had a shiny part at the top of the controller rather than a complete matte finish.
 
AAAA? What's the extra A for? An even bigger budget?

I have every intention to buy one of those or something like it when I get some spare cash.
 
Anyone using Netflix on Xbox and having problems since yesterday...? all the Ultra HD 4K content,once it starts, gives me a green screen,I can hear it and pausing and all seems to work but no picture...regular content is fine.

I tried on the PS4 and it works fine there...uninstall app on X and re install...?

I had that issue using YouTube in browser.(green screen with sound) But it eventually fixed itself or got updated.

took the paddles off mine, kept touching them when i shouldn't. so..... paddle free now.

i'd have given up on it altogether if not for the fact i can use the switch to change joypad settings.

Can’t you change the joypad settings now with all gamepads? Just can’t change them on the fly with the two profiles, no?
