Hardcore Halo and Gears fans will play those games but most people don't. SoT sunk pretty damned fast and PUBG isn't an MS game it's just a game on their platform,.
I don't really find it any harder, you have a flashlight and headlights, I thought it was going to look darker than it actually does. It's cool seeing the zombies eyes lit up in the darkness though.

Lol, most people don't play ANY game unless it's a big third party release by any sense of the word.
So, I'm restarting after 2 days in game. When your character gets high enough, they'll get legacy goals. Well my character was low on stamina and switching characters will "abandon" the mission. I didn't wait long enough to see if it would ever come back, so I didn't want to continue playing and find out it'll never show.
I had a side character who had a mission and we never did it. He had a negative stat.
I guess that's the problem with early access. No one can give me the answers. Oh well.

I played a lot more yesterday and I really like this game. I'm not sure for how long the gameplay loop will hold me. But the base/community management done with supply runs is a lot of fun. I like that you have to rotate survivors to let others get rest and also like having to care for your vehicle with things like fuel and tools kits to keep it running. There is a level of tension when exploring a new place for supplies and that tension even though its low most times adds a fun element to this game especially when you know a character could be perma killed. I got my first leader character and I'm really protective of him.
Funny note, my leader is an asian dude so naturally he's named Glenn. And with the preorder bonus I got a spiked bat that I named Lucille as a funny nod to The Walking Dead. That's right, Glenn is reborn with Nagan's bat.

Not only that but you really have to pay particular attention to each one's strengths. I've exiled a couple of survivors because I've found a couple who had strengths I needed. One helps me with the garden while the other is great at craftmanship. I don't think some people pay attention to these things and pay for it later. It's really important.
Now I'm trying to figure out how I can move my home base to another area. I have the ok yup move to a strip mall but I just don't know how.
Did you know the more survivors you have at a base the louder your base is? Causing more zombie incursions on your base. Little things like this add Shi much depth to the game.
I think you'll really like it. I'm enjoying more than I thought I would.only 30 more hours to go

I'm going to put some more time into the first game, mad I never played this until now.
I know right, how did this franchise slip by us until now?
I made a rookie mistake and built a generator but don't have anything that needs power yet. So I dismantled it and now I'm short of supplies to build what I really need which is a workshop to repair weapons. That has an upgrade to craft ammo which I'm in desperate need of. The preorder weapons are great but I think I'm a bit too early in the game for assault/smg & shotgun ammo to be easily found. So I'm mostly using a suppressed pistol with my trusty spiked bat. And since inventory space is so small at the moment I really have to think about what I want to carry with me and leave room for supplies........And still no major bugs.
Is this game difficult when it comes to managing your base, people, and keeping resources up? That’s what I found difficult about the first game.
Yeah that's pretty much a given, if you loved the first one you'll love this one. The juggernauts are harder this time around so be ready
using a car against them is useless, at least it has been in my experience so far.

Gotta say the combat system seems to have more oomph to it. Hits with blunt weapons seem a lot meatier .
Yeah the combat does feel better than the first one and it looks better too, I just wish the running and jumping looked better but baby steps I guess lol.

I ran into one 3 times with an SUV and it didn't phase him, the car burst into flames though lol.
Looked like Hedon was attempting to play CO-OP. Hopefully he will have some impressions.
Looks like Grouchy got the Ulitmate Edition too and you know he most likely bought it to play with somebody.
He usually buys the whatever edition of a game that comes out. I really wanted to take Tuesday off work but that’s off the cards. It’s going to be a late one tomorrow!
I'll be on until it goes live but since I have to download it I might as well get some sleep(No work Tuesday--boss doesn't know. Lol.) and dig in Tuesday
