So you are saying it is fine a game is a buggy mess as long as people play the s*** of it? I hope not.
But to hear the people playing it, its not a buggy mess. Its not unplayable or broken like slot of people are suggesting. It has bugs, yes, but none are game breaking. Not to mention there's patches coming down the pipe to fix the bugs and glitches that are there. I swear, I've been reading reviews of gamers who got the game early and they are loving it! This is going to increase when the regular version drops next week. Hell, I remember popping in Skyrim for the first time. That game was SUPER buggy and glitchy. I loved the hell out of that game however.

Thanks for telling me something I have already said myself several times and had absolutely nothing to do with the question I asked.

I'm about 2 hours in foraging for supplies to cure a survivor while I figure things out. So far all has been well with no technical issues. But there is one thing that is bothering me already. The AI survivor I had running with me doesn't close the door behind him when we enter a place to search. Motherfcker better start pulling his weight very soon or he's zombie bait.

Lol, sure dude. Move those goal posts, except I stated that the moment you start the car, let alone drive it off the lot it starts the process of breaking down. s*** happens no matter how prepared you are. Hell, I know at least two people who bought new cars only to have them break down a couple miles down the road.

All this is beside the point. Just pick a better analogy next time, and then you won’t have to get bent out of shape when it doesn’t work.

On top of it all, no one is saying that you can’t complain about the bugs or whatever, but yes, complaining is in fact b****ing and moaning, and yes despite all that, people will still play the s*** out of it.

Lol, thanks for the silly sidebar though.

Again when you buy a new car you expect it to work and the vast majority of the time they do, again your example makes no sense. One or two here and there having an issue vs the entire line of cars having the same issue is totally different. And yes I know all about recalls etc but people don't make excuses for them when they happen either. The bottom line is a new car (this is a new game) is supposed to work as intended, a few defective cars off of the line is just a margin of error kind of thing, the vast majority of the bugs in this game will be experienced by everyone who bought it and most of what I've seen so far are things that should have been fixed before release.

Also I wasn't bent out of shape, you just made a counter point to what I said that doesn't apply that's all.

Wasn't it like that in the first game too? I always shut the gate but nobody else does and you'd think that'd be a no brainer given the state of (decay) things in that world lol.

First big bug hit me at an inopportune time. Came up against a juggernaut and the aiming reticle along with the entire HUD decided to disappear so I couldn't see where my shots were aiming or my health and stamina, they were all checked to on in the settings menu and had been on screen the whole time until the fat bastard showed up. It also wouldn't let me use the D-pad to check my inventory so I could switch to a different weapon. I lost a survivor companion because of that and had to run away.

You're blocked fuko! I can't read your messages, you bastard! I didn't know you said that s***. Lol
Yet you replied to one of my posts....so how blocked am I. Am I really blocked, or just imaginary blocked? Make up your mind.

Not a bug or anything, just a silly thing that made me laugh. With partners like that who needs zombies? lol

Uncharted 4 was patched to hell and back for bugs, as was GoW almost daily. But that's ok because.....

Sooo I have a question for those who got the UItimate Edition...

Did anyone get State of Decay: Year One Edition? I can't seem to find it....

The pre-order info is gone now for it, but what I think it said was you'd receive it or a code for it in 7-10 days.

Man oh man. I went on a simple supply run and took one of my best people with me. So I have my leader and someone else who I can promote to leader looking for meds. I looted a box and found fireworks. Grabbed them and realized I needed to bandage myself up so I hit rb not realizing I had the fireworks highlighted.

The s*** hit the fan and we were backed into a room surrounded by blood plague zombies, a screamer, and a f***ing juggernaut. Needless to say my best player was ripped in half and I barely made it out and to a vehicle with the other survivor.

People if you lose a hero it has a devestating affect on the morale of your community. I already had one person leave and the others are talking about it.

My supplies are ok and I'm trying to build something to boost morale. I almost started a new game but I'm sticking it out and let it play out because I realize this is so immersive watching how this is affecting everyone.

On a side note, I went back to the place to get those meds and that girl's body was still there ripped in half. I was able to loot her body but damn what a sad moment. It's like I'm starting over again.

Oh and f*** fireworks!

Oh, if anyone was concerned about pausing the game without something happening...you can set it to offline when choosing type of multiplayer. This allows pausing. The other options won't pause. This can always be changed.

Thanks, seems kinda stupid to not just offer it out right as a part of the bundle...

The girl that died from my squad because of the bug was also ripped in half but when I went back to get her stuff she was fully in tact though but floating about 5 feet above the ground (bug) but I was still able to get her stuff. Those juggernauts are a pain for sure, I've killed two of them but only because I was able to climb on top of something where they couldn't hit me and shoot them repeatedly until they were down on one knee. UL did a great job with the sound when it comes to the juggernauts, that groan is loud and deep and the stomping when they walk sounds menacing as well. Actually the sound design overall are pretty good as is the music, very fitting for the game.

Yeah when they go into a bull rush it's intense. Especially when you're trying to run away or find something to climb.

I’m not entirely sure if you’re intentionally being obtuse, you really don’t understand, or you don’t take time to process what you read. Regardless, I’m moving on.

No, in fact, no where did I say or even imply such a thing. What is wrong with people’s reading comprehension these days?

I merely made the observation that despite all the complaints regarding MS games, people still play the s*** out of them.

For those of you who have early access, is night time intense in a good way or annoying way? The super dark aspect looks like it could either be really cool or really frustrating.

Found this on MS website for the game:
A code for State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition on Xbox One will be sent to your Xbox Live account within 7-10 days of purchase. The code can be redeemed directly on your console, or at redeem.microsoft.com.

It's hard to drive because objects can come up at you quickly, so you have to be cautious. I can see some people finding that annoying. Sight range is pretty limited, so just be careful. Not too bad in my opinion.

This is true. And for much longer...

I don't like driving in it. Of course the funny midair spawning in front of you without being able to see before ramming doesn't help, haha. Its not that bad though. When you're in some areas they can have some really dark rooms but you have a flashlight. I really like the music in this game it adds to the atmosphere. I have to say after a few more hours the game has been pretty stable overall. There have been some weird zombie spawning issues and slight framerate dips with a lot of zeds on screen but its been very minor. My experience could differ from those playing coop. I'v been solo and having a lot of fun.

I've had one issue where it seemed I was sucked into the road and couldn't move. i just restarted and haven't had an issue since. However, the big issue must come from co-op cause that's where I experienced some weird stuff.

Just a question.

Lol, coming from you that means dick squat. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself though. Although, I'm fairly certain your comprehension is at least average; you just get your kicks from arguing with others.

Meant enough for you to get shirty over it though, didn't it.

It was a simple question born from the fact that you just keep saying it. It isn't an answer to anything being said, so I was left wondering what the purpose of it actually was.

Nah. I wasn't upset or anything dude, lol. I was only embarrassed for you.
