I'll be on until it goes live but since I have to download it I might as well get some sleep(No work Tuesday--boss doesn't know. Lol.) and dig in Tuesday

20 something gigs. It’ll take you an hour or so. I’ll try to limit my time to an hour but that may be beyond my self control.

Are you on the hills, plateau, or valley?

I'm on the Plateau and honestly I'm regretting it. At night its a pain to find the road that leads to my settlement and it doesn't seem any more secure than anywhere else because my base is attacked frequently.

I haven't battled a Juggernaut yet. I'm a scared, haha. I know it will happen but I just don't want to lose anyone yet so I run from them. I'm trying to gather resources to upgrade the workshop so I can craft more explosives and once that's done I'll be ready for the big boy. I'm seriously thinking about exiling a member of my group to save on food stocks. They are a bunch of hungry bastages making me work overtime to feed them. I could always set up rationing of food but that would decrease overall morale.

There is a lot to juggle in this game. But I love the balancing act you have to perform. My base morale is stable for the moment and I wonder when I'll see them actually happy. But they're going to have to tough it out because things are going to remain tight for a while.

I know It will be beyond me. Will be smashing the game Tuesday.

Send me a message before you log off telling me where you choose to go at the start( The Valley, Plateau, and something else) so I can choose somewhere different. Will help keep co-op fresh.

Oh. Good idea. Yeah I’ll message you with whatever place I set up. Post some impressions during the day as well and any suggestions you might have.

I exiled one bastard cause he kept getting into fights with everyone and bringing the mood down. Once I did that everyone went from depressed to cheerful.

Wish you could take them out back and Negan them.

Yeah I remember that from the first one. I had some a****** survivor who annoyed everyone. I was debating killing him when he got sick and I had the option to waste all our antibiotics on him or kill him. I chose option B and didn’t even waste a bullet on the f***er.

There's alot of cool scenarios that have happened in the short time I've played this. Some of the interaction you have with outsiders are cool. Right now I'm following this suspicious guy around town cause he seems to be up to no good.

Are there NPC communities?like yours that you can fight with or trade with ?

I really like how in the first game you end up needing to decide priorities and can't do every single thing. If you decide to try to find medicine for someone that's hurt, you may lose out on another time sensitive mission. If you're working on doing one thing, people in the base may get in a fight nad morale sucks. It's annoying for the perfectionist in me, but it's also cool to have your own unique experience.

Its the same for this sequel and its infuriating but I also like it that I can't do everything. I could be dealing with an infestation which is basically like a enemy base of zombies you need to clear. And I get a call over the radio of some people who need help. I continue on clearing the zombies and then proceed to loot the house they were in. The group that needed help comes back on the radio and they are like "we're moving on to the next town maybe they will be more help". I'm like "fck you I got my own sh!t to deal with".

Haha, I'm glad that carried over. It both annoys me to know it's borderline impossible to do everything, and it' makes me happy to know I'll have my own very unique experience based on my own priorities. Pretty cool feature.

Those whose who are playing, How is the game for the price you paid for?

It's tricky, I haven't noticed much of any kind of story yet, it's basically been farming resources over and over again but aside from the glitches and sub par graphics it's still pretty fun. The sad part is I think people would have gladly paid $60 for a more polished game with higher production values. Also I paid $50 because I bought the higher end edition which is almost what you pay for a game like GTAV that was more polished and had a lot more content. If you buy the standard edition you pay less but you get less.

What are you needing help with? I can try.

Im lost on the whole community management aspect. I am at the part where i had to build an infirmary for a sick teammate. The infirmary is in the process of built.

Yeah, seems to me like theres a "trigger" for Xbox games that can easily, EASILY go South real quick with everything they do in the gas department. You can clearly see Microsoft is going in on new software and will have a slew of things to be shown at E3. But, I'm betting that "this is Microsoft so they REALLY need to earn it, trigger" will be ticked without even thinking about it.

Hell, CD3 could have the cloud destruction in place on reveal, and I'm betting people will trash it for something. And the review scores will hover btw 6.5 and 7.5.

And, anyone else notice the stark contrast from review scores of SoD2 and people playing the game now? Like, "wait. I thought the reviews said this game was pretty much a waste?" People are even calling out some of the reviewers for claiming false information within the game.

Do you only read pro xbox stuff? There are a ton of people talking badly about SoD2, some reviewers missed a few silly things like being able to load inventory from a parked car at the home base but I haven't read anything that wasn't true. The game is broken in many ways, it has good bones but it needed more time and MS decided to push it out anyway and now it's getting the scores it deserves. Also people talking down about reviewers not waiting for patches, why submit a game to reviewers if it's not ready? again that's on the publisher not the reviewer.

When you have a game where you have to build up character stats and then they are killed permanently because of a bug and you lose all the time you put into them not because you messed up but because a bug caused the aiming reticle to disappear so you couldn't see where you were shooting when you were being attacked by a character that's basically a tank or because they refuse to grab the ladder and just jump off of a cell tower that's worthy of criticism regardless of what the asking price is. MS has pushed several games out before they were ready this gen and they deserve every complaint they get because of it, as would any company that kept putting out buggy games or games that lacked content. If you think the complaining is bad now just imagine if they were EA and doing the same thing, it'd be 10 times worse.

I don't know about you guys but climbing down ladders on the cell towers or billboards is turning this atheist into a religious man, I pray every time that the character actually grabs the ladder lol. At least half of the time they seem to just go right past it and jump off, I wish they had us push a button instead of just walking towards the ladder.

On the plus side I think they've done a pretty good job with how the vehicles handle.

If PUBG on Xbox was an EA game it would be eaten alive by now.

State of Decay 2 is out? I didn't even realize.

Metacritic 68. Ouch. :really: Just what MS needs, another dud.
