Oh sonic, why must you make us Fay folk look bad? Sorry a bad joke, but that was the first idea I got from the trailer :"He takes how many hours for this? Screw that...."
 
Looks awesome to me. Always cool to see cross overs with games.
 
Looks pretty cool. SLW wasn't to good? The last good 3D Sonic was SA on the Dreamcast, to bad they can't recapture some of that magic.

SLW is OK at best and it helps if your a fan. You should try Colors if you like Sonic games, one of the best Sonic games ever imo.

Yeah... it really was a different time. Sonic Adventure and Ecco the Dolphin where just... well amazing. I mean first time I saw Ecco was in a German commercial, my mouth just dropped! Plus Tom Baker as the narrator and music by Tim Follin (And what a good job he did! :)).

Just, it was the beginning of the end as there are few who want to buy such a hard but such a beautiful game.

But how is this Sonic title then? Any good, as I really am starting to get that itch a bit the more I see of it :).

It's pretty good. I'd recommend it if you are a Sonic fan. But it's very very different than the previous games like Generations or Colors. It's much more platform heavy, almost like a Mario game. I would point out that some complained that the difficulty ramps up a lot in the later levels, and the game is stingy with lives, but they seem to have fixed that problem in the patch. It's extremely easy to farm lives now.

Hmm, I hate it when games get easier because of people that can't seem to cope with the difficulty. But the rest you are posting seems very much like how Sonic Adventure and the 2D Sonic's used to be. Harder and more challenging yet at the same time breakneck speeds. I shall contemplate this title for addition on my next list of Wii U titles to buy :).

(I buy in batches because I do not know when I have time, my job can be a bit demanding regarding time, so when i get some time off I just get the games I like and enjoy them :)).
 
Looks awesome. I'd love to play that one day! Looks like Sega and Nintendo really love each other, don't they? Lol.

You should give Generations a go. Solid game and very cheap now days.
 
I like the dialogue in the game. It's making me chuckle. Gameplay looks like fun, but that doesn't really sizzle either. It's lacking challenging platforming in those videos too, although it could be this game is designed easy for kids, but with later or side levels for the more hardcore players like in Mario games. Also, I wish Knuckles had an Aussie accent and that they ditch Eggman already.

This game looks lame. So lame that I'd prefer Knack over this.
 
Just got home with Sonic Boom, pre-ordered a few Amiibo figures including Sonic. Now a shower then order a pizza and my night is set.
 
played for a few hours last night and I found it quite enjoyable. Not Jak and Daxter quality as I was hoping but certainly better than Sonic 06 as the sheep have compared it.
