you need to see way beyond what Russia is doing as there are far more players in this game then you know
and I have a premonition of something really really bad is about to drop.. same as I had before 911
even my co workers agree and are looking into means of protection

lol...people say this stuff every time something bad happens. 9/11 was supposed to be the start of WW3. Every time North Korea take a footstep it is WW3 in the making. A WW makes no sense for anybody. Nobody wants. Europe do not want it, Russia do not want it, Korea do not want it, America does not want it...even the damn terrorist's do not want it.

I will agree with menace. We've heard the start of World War III was imminent starting at the end of World War II.

I do not consider terrorism to be WW3, unless some decide that terrorism is, then we are already at WW3
Russia will attack Israel with a coalition of nations and that is NOT WW3 either

Star, I was born in the 70s so I lived thought part of the Cold War. If there was social media, and the internet back then, the world would have seemed like it was Hades. It's a cycle. It's how it's always been and how it always will be. While the world may seem that it sucks, it's nothing compared to the times of slaughter with empires and religious crusades. It's nothing compared to the times of WWI. WWIII will never happen. There's too much to lose for everyone. Russia won't start it. U.S. won't start it. China won't start it. If NK tried anything they would be doomed. There's a lot of posturing between countries with a subset of psychos operating in many countries, ISIS, etc.
I can see the U.S. hitting ISIS hard. We didn't spend lives, years, and billions of dollars on Iraq just for a Syrian terrorist organization to come in and take control of Iraq. Both the U.S, and Europe are expecting a terrorist act against our regions any day now. The only thing these extremists are going to accomplish is stir up a bees nest that will swarm them.
While I definitely there there are some major regional conflicts about to flair, I don't think we're anywhere near WWIII. There is just to much to lose for everyone involved and the world is a much different place socio/economically and technologically.
Extremely slim. I do not care how crazy they are, nobody wants a nuclear war, and that is exactly what WW3 will be.
I don't know about on the brink but World War III will go down one way or another. We were created to destroy each other.
An all out nuclear war would require some Hitleresque type of madness , I think if WW3 comes it might not involve nukes at all.
Were we though. If we look at examples of early man they did not destroy each other for trivial things. You can not even equate our behaviour as primal instinct because primal instinct is to survive, not to kill for no reason or without provocation. Now a days we kill our neighbours of bushes. We kill our local store workers for money. We have no real sense of even the most early examples of society (tribal). Greed( money) and Religion are the two prime factors in the vast majority of Man's destruction of Man. Oddly enough they are both creations of Man, and not products of nature.

since the superpowers have had civilization ending weaponry it a little more difficult to do anything. No leader whats to be remembered has the guy who ended it all, unless he is a complete psycho, but even then the guy who starts the war will die like everyone else, either from the immediate blast or slightly slower from radiation poisoning and cancer. Or you can be a baller and live in a bunker.
