Batman v Superman

but the guy they chose does? and I always thought of Lex as super intelligent is he not?
Never said that, but if I had to choose between those two only, I'd say yes. THERE I SAID IT!!! Feels good to get that off my chest.

Eisenberg has more defining features on his face where your choice is almost too tight of a looking face. It looks like he had a face lift and that's not something I associate with a majority of wealthy business men in America. For Brainiac, he's a perfect fit. Hell, he might even make a great Martian Hunter if he bulks up for the role. Slap some green paint on him and you got something there.

Now I ain't saying Eisenberg is a great choice or anything, but he does have some redeeming qualities. Especially if they're looking at a young Lex Luthor.

I guess with makeup they can do alot, but next to the new superman, i would think a new Lex needed to have more imposing features, Eisenburg not only looks very young, he looks borderline weak.

I don't think making Lex Luthor weak out the gates is a bad thing. Sure, he's eventually used in a more physical way, but he's always been an armchair kind of guy.

It could work i suppose, maybe if they develop him over time into the character. To me, i could just see nearly anyone playing Lex over Eisenburg

I don't know about anyone, but he wouldn't be the guy who popped into my head either. Hell, I'd take Vin Diesel or The Rock.

To be honest, I'm pretty sick of Lex. He has been used many times in the movies. How about Doomsday? Doomsday vs ENTIRE Justice teams. Imagine that.

Never been a fan of Jesse Eisenberg's acting. He talks like he's on crack. As for his role as Lex Luthor, he looks too young for the part. It's bad enough we have Gal Gadot ( A nobody) playing as Wonder Woman.

She's well enough known now days and you know every has to start somewhere.

And people realize JE can play a smart character? Probably a smart guy anyways.

Cause you know Cavill can't really fly ;)

Eisenberg can play a smart guy, he also did a good job of being a dislikable creep. Both good points for a criminal mastermind.

Later on he could build a kind of Iron Man suit or something. But I think it's actually fine to have him never get physical at all and just be a shot caller and a dirty rat who uses non-physical means to challenge Superman. We already saw Superman beat the crap out of Zod and have the crap beaten out of him and a city destroyed. "You punch me into a building? How about I punch YOU into a building!" That was actually my least favourite part of MoS. I just kind of switched off. I didn't really like Superman Returns, but I did find the plane rescue sequence more exciting than anything in the Superman/Zod fight.

This time we could see him challenged in other ways where he needs to use other powers to succeed, like super-speeding between hidden bombs that he needs his x-ray vision to locate as well as having to really think about where they might be (or having Batman's detective skills help him out on that), or blowing away poison gas or something.

Not to mention that Lex might just be a puppet master who barely appears on screen, and we just find out that he bankrolled the more colourful starring villain.

It would be funny if they cast RDJ as Lex Luthor and just basically had him as an evil twisted Tony Stark/Iron Man who is bitter and twisted because he's bald and taking it out on Superman because he has awesome hair.

The photo was posted with a status line from Gadot that reads, “There’s nothing like a good workout in the morning.. Love it! You?”

Ray Fisher Cast As 'Cyborg' In BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN

With production on Batman Vs. Superman gearing up in Detroit, Michigan, Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder have reportedly been testing actors for yet another Justice League character to appear in the Man of Steel follow-up. According to Variety, relatively unknown thesp Ray Fisher will join the ensemble cast playing none other than Victor "Vic" Stone, aka Cyborg. The source notes that he doesn't play a major part in Batman vs. Superman, but Cyborg will "become a much more significant role as Warner and D.C. develop more films related to the Justice League universe."

Interesting. That was totally unexpected news. Hope Ray looks good as Cyborg!

CONFIRMED: Zack Snyder To Direct JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie After BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN

Though its been longtime speculated and hinted at, Greg Silverman, the president of production at Warner Bros. has confirmed today via The Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy that a Justice League movie is definitely in the pipeline and it will follow Zack Snyder's still untitled Man of Steel sequel. “It will be a further expansion of this universe,” he said. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’”

UPDATE: This should be classified as a rumor, given the source has done so himself, but prior to today's announcement, Latino Reviewwas informed that Justice League is aiming for May 5, 2017.

I hope Zack will make the right decision with future DC movies. Looking forward to it!

Have faith in Snyder for this and JL just still think its coming too soon with only Batman and Superman getting any decent back story.

I know it only just made profit but they have an acceptable Green Lantern IMO already.

Warner Bros. Has NINE Other DC Adaptations In Development

Warner has now entrusted its core superheroes to “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder, who will helm “Superman vs. Batman” and then “Justice League.” It also has nine other movies based on DC comics in development.

Currently, we know only a handful of these eleven total films. Obviously Superman vs Batman and Justice League are the first two, but Shazam, Fables, Metal Men, Sandman, and 100 Bullets are in development as well. That leaves four other mysterious projects left, and at this point it's your guess is as good as anybody's!
