Very dissapointed with the X1 BF4 graphics

Going by that video it seems the sound will be excellent, those gun shots sound realistic. The draw distance looks pretty bad though. Pretty good for a cross gen launch game though, I cant wait to see what happens with 2nd/3rd wave games

I currently have three One Day One editions and a PS4 on preorder. One One is coming to my house, one going to a friend. If there is a demand I will flip the other and the ps4

Good luck getting one at launch.
While I agree with your point, just wanted to say that MS has mentioned trying very hard to make sure there were enough consoles to line some shelves at launch. Although personally I don't see preorder demand slowing down compared to production

To be fair, the entirety of systems produced is not allocated to pre-orders. Most retail chains, outside of specialty shops like Gamestop, get large allocations to put on shelves in addition to any pre-order units. They will sell out still, but if you get to a retail store for a midnight release there is a good chance you can walk away with one.

True enough :) It will be interesting to see both companies stock situations after launch. Personally I am hoping that retail shortages of consoles at launch will be a thing of the past.

Me too. I know plenty of people who want one but didnt pre-order or just cant make it into a store at midnight.

I have a feeling that the X1 will definitely excel at sound. I'm not sure where you are coming from on the draw distance though; the draw distance seemed more than adequate, especially in the second video.

That'd me me. I'm kicking myself for not pre-ordering.

Going by that video it looked to be fog city to hide a lack of detail at distance

The game looks great. Unless you're intentionally looking for issues, you can't even tell the difference between the two.

Not sure what you are watching. If you mean the haze in the distance during the first video, then that is a naturally occurring phenomenon. You can plainly see the the architecture there quite far into the distance though. As far as the second video is concerned, you can see off into the distance for miles.

Oh good! Another Battlefield thread. :(

Checking out the video links now.
