It may not steal the show, but it will be a big sticking point. Its almost certain to be exclusives. I do not think it will necessary steal the show, but it will add a stronger for Sony. The good thing is, its not another shooter.

No to either DS1 or...um DS1. Playing a couple other games right now so it will be a while.U play it?
If Project Beast is going to steal any show, it better show something more than a 10 second video from a low end cell phone. No joke, even this half crappy company Blackberry I have can churn out a better video.
What are you ranting about? lolIf Project Beast is going to steal any show, it better show something more than a 10 second video from a low end cell phone. No joke, even this half crappy company Blackberry I have can churn out a better video.
It would have been more of a show stealer had it not been leaked. At this point it's totally expected, and the only thing that would come as a surprise is if they had a release date set in stone. I mean, if this game comes out this year, that what would be enormous. Considering the PS4 is in desperate need of games, and taking my eternal love for the Souls series into account, it would definitely > all other titles coming this year. I suppose it could be possible considering Hidetaka Miyazaki sat out on DS2, and has obviously been working on something for a while.Over 500000 views of the leaked YT video and over 1.5 million views in the gaf thread. Safe to say a official E3 announcement could be a show stealer.
I'm not quite sure why people think PS4 is in any more desperate need of games then the other system. It would have been more of a show stealer had it not been leaked. Yeah neither have much to brag about exclusive wise but the Xbox One does have the slight advantage in this area IMO.I'm not quite sure why people think PS4 is in any more desperate need of games then the other system.

That's 1.5 million views in about 72 hours. I've never seen so many clicks in such a short time for a game before.
Bloodborne — or Project Beast if that rumored name is still in your head — was officially confirmed and announced last night for PlayStation 4. It's being developed by Demon's Souls/Dark Souls studio FromSoftware and will be produced by Sony's Japan Studio. Masaaki Yamagiwa from Japan Studio has posted new information on the game via the PlayStation Blog along with some new screens.
The game will take place in a city named Yharnam, a center for an "old medical remedy." You play as a main character who journeys to the city for help but instead find that the city has been cursed with a disease. It just happens that there are beasts and other creatures that inhabit the city. "Face your fears as you discover the secrets and mysteries of this dark and horrific world where danger, death and madness lurk around every corner."
That sure sounds like a "Souls" type of game. According to the post, the game's combat will be filled with "intense life-threatening battles."
"One of the ways we are bringing that sense of danger to life is by keeping the deep strategic elements from Demon’s Souls," Yamagiwa said, "while also transitioning from the passive and block-and-attack style of Demon’s Souls to a quicker, more offensive and active combat style with close-range weapons and guns."
The PlayStation 4 will allow the team to take advantage of new power by expanding the draw distance and adding new lighting effects.
"I hope to be able to share more about our online features later this year, but I can say that we are developing new kinds of online experiences that allow users to share their adventures," said Yamagiwa. "We also look forward to giving fans new ways of playing and sharing thanks via the PS4 system’s Share capabilities."
Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki also has some words to share about the game.
“Creating Bloodborne as a completely new game on the new PlayStation 4 hardware has allowed us to really push the envelope in myriad ways," he said. "That being said, in more ways than one, it also very much retains our distinct, signature style. As has been at the core of our development philosophy since Demon’s Souls, we make true games for people who love games. Please watch for more to come on Bloodborne, and thank you very much for your support.”
