My thoughts on the maps...
Skyjacked - I never thought I needed this map again in my life (it is a remake of Hijacked, only instead of a boat, you are on a police aircraft flying in the air), but upon loading it up for the first time, and fighting over B in Domination like old times, I fell back in love. The one main change is on the side of the aircraft, there is a hole, leading to some fancy jump opportunities to the below deck area, so there are now three ways into that section.
Splash - If you liked Grind from Black Ops II, you will love this map. This map is truly beautiful, although there are already people glitching out of the map, getting into places they shouldn't be, so keep an eye out for that. This map is set in a water park, complete with slides, a wave pool, and a river rapids ride going along the perimeter.
Gauntlet - There are so many experiences in this map. The middle ice section feels like a great long range engagement area. The rainy city side streets area is perfect for SMGs and shotguns. And the jungle area is perfect for medium to long range action. The "bases" are designed nicely too, with multiple ways in and out.
Rise - This one I didn't get to play much, but it is big, open, and all paths converge to the middle, where, in Domination, there are no less than 5 different lookout points covering B. Snow maps are always fun, and this one is truly no exception.
So yeah, those are my thoughts after day 1. Well worth the wait.
