I can assure you the servers in this game are dedicated. If you are on a dedicated server, a lowercase "e" will appear in the top right of screen when checking the scoreboard after the version number.
Which is almost every game.
If this was P2P, the connections would actually be better. Don't know what s*** servers Treyarch paid for.

Would like to play them but nowhere to be found in regular playlists. Only one I played was Gauntlet I think? Whatever map has a forest and snow area.
You know COD has peaked when you have maps with water slides and pastel colors.
If this game uses dedicated servers then they must have bought them from Walmart because the connection in this game is complete s***.
This happened twice last night. no sooner did I kill somebody, I get this . They are definitely still using peer to peer. How often they are using it remains a mystery . Both matches this occurred in also had the e after the last version number.
Finally had enough and deleted this game from my HD. Have had nothing but issues with the connection since the first DLC released.
lol. Haven't played since first week of the first DLC on Xbox. Really no interest to play it any time soon.
Two more weapons to master then dark matter camo is finally mine. Man it's been a f ing grind .
This game runs so much better on the XBOX One. It's truly incredible. Saved this game for me.
Does it really? I might actually play it more if i didn't have the slide show version on PS4. I knew Sony would ruin this franchise with their marketing deal.
On the PS4, once the first DLC released, if I had a ping of over 100 (for whatever reason) I would get kicked halfway through every time. Every single time.
On the XBOX One? Haven't been kicked once.
I got this with my PS4 bundle and haven't played much but have had few lag problems. Well, no more lag problems than other games.
They do use dedicated servers, Gameservers and Choppa servers, whilst Microsoft also use Azure dedi's.
It's not so much the dedicated servers, more the engine they keep re-gutting for each and every Call of Duty.
I can see the dedicated servers, force connect to them and even block them...
Because you also have P2P lobbies and these dedicated servers (mainly) Choppa are f**king rubbish. So much jitter that makes a grown man cry.
Edit: The padlocked are the dedi's and in the picture I'm blocking them all. I alow my local Australian ones when I play...
I also use OpenWRT to resolv the dedicated server IP's...

Game lasted until June for me. Which is longer than Ghosts, but shorter than Advanced Warfare, even though I enjoyed this game more.
Ik about to finish the campaign for Black Ops. Did any of you play the SP for BO2? How was it? Is it worth picking up?
