Well, definitely happy for those who did get something. I was already expecting to pay for everything, so it's not really a negative. Enjoy the new console man, what an awesome surprise!It wasn't just one factor. In other words, no one really knows.

Edited post from Rant to happiness, i found that i did have an email i was planning on getting the 20 pound pack on launch day so this is a lovely little saving. I'd of loved a free retail game to say thanks for the thousands of pounds ive sent their way but this is still nice they should however set exact criteria for what get you the free console with everything console with forza and the free killer instinct because its truly terrible if its given at random.

Emails go to the address tied to your billing account. Email is from the engage.xbox.com domain.
They wont reveal it because then people who are in it and wasnt selected will kick off big time, i wish theyd just say you needed this and that and out of the 20,000 people who had that criteria we selected 500 at random or something. Then the lower standard needed for killer instinct

I think the important thing to do, as long as I don't get that email, is for our friend Plainview to go through and remove everyone who got the email with the free game(s) or system from the site's contest for next-gen goodness. It's the right thing to do, as measured by how much it might benefit me at least.

My gamerscore is not that high but I'm a long time Xbox Live subscriber. I own a windowsphone & Surface Pro 2 owner. I live in the Microsoft ecosystem.
